This place is amazing. The people i've met here, the nature, the food, the plans we made, the treat they all gave to me. I felt so loved and respected by everyone. You don't work feeling like its a work, you feel like you're doing something with your team, with your family. I have no words to explain all the lovely treatment they have given to me, every person here has a different personality and all together create a perfect team. David is an amazing person. I love eggs and i haven't had any day without them. The environment here makes you develop yourself and be a better version. Thank you❤️

Volunteering with Big Dog in the host was unreal. From day one I felt welcomed, trusted, and part of the team. The work was fair, physical, and genuinely rewarding — no busywork, just real projects where you see results. Big Dog is supportive, clear, and motivating, pushing you to give your best while always having your back. Add in great laughs, a stunning location, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Massive thanks to Big Dog — highly recommended.

The two weeks I spent at the host were incredible. I felt at home and gained a family while I was there. David's energy is unparalleled! High spirits and he's like a brother to everyone. I loved meeting the family and was very well received. The work is also a kind of university, as we learn technical and very useful things. I will definitely go back there in the summer. Thank you to everyone and especially to "Big Famous Daddio" who welcomed me so well.

Before coming here, I was just a regular guy. Now? I am a Padoek-deck-building, stone-wall-restoring, yacht-sleeping god. The energy at this place is electric. The host is firm but fair (mostly firm), and his obsession with 'High-Tech Artistic Havens' is borderline cult-like, which is exactly what I needed. I laughed, I cried, I moved 4 tons of stone, and I realized that the only person who can truly appreciate my genius is... well, me. Five stars. A masterpiece.

Writing this review required a level of introspection usually reserved for monks and philosophers. 10/10 difficulty, would not recommend looking this deep into your own soul.

My stay at the host was amazing. The work was fun and i learned a lot of new things. The area is beautiful and there are lots of things to do in your free time. I would definitely recommend a stay at the host.

My partner Livi and I stayed with the David and the Tasiaux's for 3 weeks at the host in the host. We were blown away by their hospitality and generosity during that time. The accomodation and food was second to none and we enjoyed getting stuck in to various projects. Thank you for having us

The hosts Luc and David made me feel extremely welcome and were very generous with their time. As a volunteer at the host, I got to learn and practice so many new skills while having heaps of fun and laughs along the way. The hosts genuinely value your input and I was able to contribute meaningfully to the project in my time that I was there. It is also a very social experience as you get to meet and spend time with the other volunteers and have free time to explore the local areas and get active. I would 100% recommend this experience to any Worldpacker volunteer!

David is an excellent host and his family are fantastic people who will make you feel very welcome. David treats you with respect and will go out of his way to make your stay extraordinary. You're working in the hills of rural France near a cute village, but only a short drive from Nice. There is a great bus service that can take you from the village to Nice for only 5 euros (round trip). The work itself is very rewarding, but it is manual labor, so don't expect an easy time there unless you enjoy working with your hands! Overall a fantastic experience, 10/10. Very fun very cool

It was my first experience volunteering and I think it could not been better! the guest house de the guest house is an amazing place, very confortable and full around of nature. David, the owner, is one of the most lovely and worker person I met, and he makes sure that you feel like at home. It was a really nice experience to work with him in this beautiful project. Now I miss the sunsets there 🥲
