Floripa Surf Hostel is a cozy beachside hostel, owned and operated by a local family who lives on-site. We’re looking for kind, positive people to help us keep the good vibes flowing and the space well-organized.
As a small hostel, it’s a great place to connect with guests from around the world and experience the local culture in an authentic way.
As a surf hostel, the atmosphere is laid-back and peaceful — this is not a party hostel.

We Need a Helping Hand at the Hostel!
This semester, my wife and I will be quite busy with studies and taking care of our kids, so we’re looking for reliable packers to help us manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being available during your shifts to assist guests
- Handling check-ins and check-outs
- Helping maintain the cleanliness of shared and outdoor areas (which you’ll also be using)
- Supporting with any occasional tasks that may come up and require attention
Around 90% of our guests communicate in English, so fluency in the language is essential.
We’re counting on people who are proactive, responsible, and ready to keep the good vibes going while helping us care for the space and our guests.

Your Role During the Shift
During your shift, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the hostel and making sure everything runs smoothly. Your tasks include:
- Handling check-ins and check-outs
- Providing information and support to guests
- Preparing beds and keeping common areas tidy
- Engaging with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Ensuring the hostel stays organized and well cared for

Regras

House Rules:
To keep the hostel peaceful and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:
- Stay organized — take care of your personal belongings and keep your space tidy.
- No visitors allowed — for everyone’s safety and comfort, outside guests are not permitted at any time.
- Quiet hours — please avoid loud noises between 10 PM and 10 AM to respect those resting.
- Clean up after yourself — whether in the kitchen, bathroom, or common areas, leave things as you found them.
- Be respectful — treat others with kindness and respect the shared space.
- Be social — we love good vibes and friendly energy, so feel free to connect and share!
