Fiquei um mês no centro e foi simplesmente incrível. Pude praticar o inglês e todos foram muito pacientes e gentis. A comida é ótima, o trabalho é tranquilo, as pessoas que lá vivem e os outros voluntários são amigáveis. Com certeza voltarei um dia.

A experiência foi inesquecível, eu aprendi muito sobre o budismo e realmente me conectei com as pessoas locais e outros viajantes internacionais. Todos são extremamente gentis e emocionalmente inteligentes e eu me senti muito em casa sempre!

O tempo que eu passei no centro budista foi muito bom, eu realmente aprendi muito com as pessoas com quem trabalhei. Gostei principalmente de trabalhar no café, acho que é o lugar que mais temos interações, para melhorar o inglês. Pude me conectar com outros voluntários de outros países que estiveram lá também.

Thanks you for all your hard work - we would normally have more meditation sessions and classes available to our volunteers but when you visited we had two ongoing retreats which left less time and space for public classes. Our retreats finish mid February and you are welcome to come and visit us again, we appreciate your work and time. Sending you love and blessings for your future adventures. :)

Durante minha estadia, pude aprimorar meu inglês, principalmente quando estava trabalhando no café, pois havia o contato com os clientes. Os anfitriões são muito gentis e adoráveis, sempre preocupados com nosso bem estar. Pude conhecer uma cultura (vegetariana e vegana), que me surpreendeu de forma positiva. O ambiente calmo e silencioso contribuiu muito para reflexões não tão fáceis no ambiente que atuo. As conexões que pude fazer, acrescentaram muito no modo no qual penso sobre a vida.

O centro de meditação é bonito, o quarto que fiquei também era bom. Porém achei o trabalho extremamente exaustivo. Limpei dezenas de quartos por 6h parando só pra almoço. A moça que fiscalizava a limpeza tinha uma fissura por espelhos, de modo que por mais que eu limpasse e esfregasse parecia nunca estar suficiente. No final das 6h eu estava tão exausta que não conseguia fazer nada. Eram muitas escadas com aspirador de pó e tal. Fiquei só 3 dias porque não vi sentido em só comer e trabalhar, pois não tinha forças pra andar 45 min pra cidade mais próxima e depois andar mais 45 minutos de volta.

First I like to say I met some amazing people during my stay, you will meet people from all around the world. Every body was very nice and they always showed appreciation for the work you did. It was also very nice to be able to attend the sessions and learn some more about Buddhism. Everyone was open to answer any questions you might got. Keep in mind that the place is hard to reach (you should probably take an uber) and be careful at the border (even if you're from Europe) sinds volunteering where you also get shelter is a grey area. Apart from these facts, it is a very peaceful place.

J'ai passé un séjour agréable au le le centre de retraite le centre. L'endroit est calme et propice au repos, avec une ambiance sereine. Donna a été sympathique et accueillante, ce que j'ai beaucoup apprécié. C'est un lieu intéressant pour découvrir le bouddhisme et prendre du temps pour soi.

One of the best experiences of my entire life!! I was pretty closed off to Buddhism when I first started learning about it, however the amazing exposure I had to it, through talking to the monks, other buddhists that live at the Center, through the books that are available at the Center, and of course the meditations that you can go to every lunch time and multiple others throughout the day, I have become so connected and so drawn to this spirituality that I think and hope will continue for a lifetime. Everyone was so welcoming, loving, and you feel like you truly belong here. 10/10 recommend!

It was such a wonderful experience to be in an the Center environment where you can explore your inner world and work on improving your inner peace. I felt truly inspired by the Center practices and uplifted by the quietness and beauty of the nature surrounding the facilities. I also loved being part of this diverse, global community, where you can connect with people from so many cultures around the world. In this kind of atmosphere, the chances of meeting open-minded people are much higher, which makes it easy to connect with others. It truly felt like a home away from home.
