I had the best 3 weeks here and would 100% reccomend! The hostel is so fun with activities on everday and all the staff are lovely. I cant speak much spanish but everyone was very accomodating and its a great place to practice!

This experience was amazing. It was my first Worldpackers experience, and solo traveling, but it didn't feel like a solo trip because I had a community around me who felt like family. Michelle who manages the volunteers is a warm and welcoming person, and I love her so much. She has such a big heart, and truly cares about all of the volunteers/ staff. I came into this with basically no Spanish knowledge, and left with a good amount of basics. This is a great place to be if you like to have fun and party, and meet people from everywhere. I am so glad I chose the hostel, missing everyone a lot!

Going into my first volunteering experience in a country which I did not speak the language of was scary at first, until I walked into the doors of the hostel. I was immediately greeted with love from the other volunteers and managers at the hostel encouraging me to take part in activities and familiarize myself with the local culture, as well as the language. the hostel at first may have just been a hostel to volunteer at, but it did not take too long for it to turn into a home for me. Most importantly I'm thankful for the hostel allowing me to meet people I will be friends with for life.

Going to the hostel was one of the most fun things I've ever experienced. The environment was so welcoming, and everyone wanted their turn to meet you (even if you don't speak Spanish). I made so many new friends among staff, volunteers, and international guests. My duties were in the kitchen, which involved cleaning, prepping, serving, dishwashing, greeting guests, and ensuring the guests enjoyed their meals. The staff were very friendly and made work very fun. The scheduling was flexible and allowed myself and some friends to have the same days off for activities. I highly recommend going!

I had the best time in Paracas! The work was interesting and I always knew what I had to do. I learned a lot of Spanish and would recommend the volunteering to everyone who would like to practice Spanish! I met some of the best people ever and would definitely go back again. They are also very flexible, easy to talk to and they take you seriously.

I had a wonderful time at Koko, had the chance to meet locals and international travelers, good atmosphere between volunteers which makes the stay even better. Tasks are straightforward and hours were respected. Thank you Michi!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy genial! Conocí gente súper increible que recordaré para siempre 😌, el ambiente es entretenido ya que siempre hacen actividades donde podemos participar y las fiestas son súper top. También aprendí mucho sobre la cultura local de paracas y la gente de ahí fue súper amable conmigo. Mi experiencia en the hostel fue increíble de inicio a fin. Iba con el principal objetivo de aprender sobre trabajar en un bar pero terminé formando una pequeña familia. Michi fue muuuuuuy paciente y flexible en todo el voluntariado, me enseño a preparar varios cócteles, manejar la caja y de atención al cliente. Por otro lado el staff en paracas y locales son súper atentos, tratan de integrarte en todas las actividades para que conozcas bien Paracas, conocí varios lugares de Paracas que ni imaginaba que existían. #Cochineoteam

My experience at the hostel in Paracas was truly unforgettable. Staying here was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I met absolutely incredible people that I hope to stay friends with forever. Immediately upon arriving I felt so welcomed, I was invited to hangout with and go out to dinner by the other volunteers. Every night we had a different and fun activity, and you are encouraged to participate and have fun. I truly felt like a part of the family. The hostel is beautiful, clean, and plays excellent music:) I am immeasurably grateful for this experience. Thank you

I had the most amazing experience volenteering at the hostel. i 1000% recommend. the staff, the locals, and the other volunteers were so welcoming, kind and fun! everyday was a new adventure! the work was very easy and i didn't even feel like i was working, we were allowed to participate in all activities even on the clock!! i am forever greatful for my time at the hostel! it is truly my home away from home, at koko they always say “home is a feeling not a place” and that was so true💞 thank you so much michelle for this amazing opportunity, love you forever and ever🫶🏻

Abby, you were a fabulous volunteer, always sweet, sentimental and very kind. You fulfilled all your assigned activities, always responsible and willing to learn.
