My experience at MLHR was absolutely AMAZING! 💖 The people working at the farm are lovely, they made me feel at home since the moment I arrived. I made lots of friends from all over the world, and I enjoyed the work very much! It's true that it is hard work, but I find that you adapt very quickly. I also learned a lot, and I truly felt like I was contributing to something meaningful and important. Being able to connect with the animals in such a way is magical and unforgettable. They are so charming and fun. 🥰 I already miss the farm, and I'm definitely coming back in the future! 🐴

This was my first time volunteering, and the experience has been truly beautiful. I'm incredibly grateful— thanks Claire for your kindness and willingness to help, and to the whole team for welcoming me with open arms, I had so much fun! Living with many volunteers taught me to grow and adapt. Tasks included feeding animals, cleaning stables, and house chores simple but physically demanding. The animals are lovely, and I even became a dog lover! The house is old but functional, with organized shower shifts. Veggie/Vegan food was plenty and delicious. It felt like a real family. Thanks MLHR♡

A unique and very rewarding experience. Being among so many rescued animals is wonderful. Being able to spend time with dogs and horses in the field is undoubtedly great. I met many people from all over the world and most of them are very nice. highly recommended

I spent three amazing weeks at this volunteer program and it was truly unforgettable. The work can be a bit demanding at times, but it's absolutely worth it. Being around animals and knowing I was making a difference was so special. The atmosphere among the volunteers was great too—I made wonderful friends and shared unforgettable moments. It was a beautiful and rewarding experience!

Fue mi experiencia de intercambio más increíble hasta el momento. El trabajo que hacen en la granja es realmente hermoso y admirable. Y, los anfitriones, son lo mejor. No solo me tuvieron paciencia con mi falta de idioma, sino que me incentivaron a que siguiera aprendiendo y desafiando mis límites cada día. Además, cumplieron con todo lo acordado y más, ya que siempre están buscando que estés cómodo y que no te falte nada. Y el trabajo con los animales es súper gratificante tanto para el alma como para el cuerpo y el corazón. De verdad es la mejor experiencia que tuve en mucho tiempo! Gracias!

I had an absolutely amazing time at MLHR! Everyone I met was super nice and welcoming and even though the house is crowded I felt right at home. The work can be physically challenging but it's mostly fun working around the animals. I really hope I can come back in the future:) Thank you for everything!

MLHR was a life-changing experience for me. I met amazing people who made me feel like at home from the moment I arrived. Working with animals is one of the best things that have happened to me ever, it's magical, they make you forget about everything and you get to love them so much. I will be forever grateful to all the people in charge that dedicate their lifes to animals that have suffered their whole life before being rescued. The work could be exhausting but rewarding and the reward is bigger and more valuable. Marv, Kenny, Penny I miss you so much

One of the best volunteering experiences I've ever had. The tasks involve feeding the animals and cleaning their area, which can be a bit tiring but is incredibly rewarding. The animals are very loving. Claire and everyone on the farm are always helpful and willing to assist us whenever we need it. The rooms are shared and very comfortable. I loved the farm and highly recommend it!

My stay at the farm was simply fantastic: the hosts and managers are very easygoing and always make you feel comfortable. The work is physically tough but rewarding, knowing that you're improving the lives of creatures that would otherwise be in difficulty. Life in the house is a whirlwind of emotions perfect for connecting with people from all over the world. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much!
