O the hostel é uma casa maravilhosa, realmente um dos lugares mais lindos que já fui. A localização é incrível também, super perto de duas praias lindas e os voluntários tem passeios gratuitos com um pessoal muito legal! Os turnos são tranquilos e os horários são muito bons, dando bastante tempo para aproveitar o lugar. Teve alguns momentos que tive algumas dores de cabeça em relação a algumas pessoas do staff e foi um pouco incômodo, acho que foi o momento em que eu estive la mais do que o espaço em si. Mas fui muito bem tratada principalmente pelos donos, recomendo muito!

The hostel is beautiful, surrounded by nature and I got to meet wonderful co-workers. However, I struggled to fully enjoy my time due to the atmosphere. Communication issues often left me feeling unwelcome and unappreciated as a volunteer. Some benefits had unexpected restrictions that were poorly communicated sometimes with a hardly tolerable attitude. While my English skills were valued for guest assistance outside of my working hours, my limited Portuguese was met with frustration. the hostel has great potential and I hope the owners will invest in openness for feedback and care for employees.

Deixei a experiência um pouco mais cedo que o previsto por questões pessoais, mas o tempo vivido no the hostel foi legal (: A estrutura é simples e aconchegante, localização meio afastada do comércio porém bem pertinho de praias e trilhas! São super flexíveis com as tarefas e o café da manhã é delicioso.. Uma dica a melhorar seria definir horários para cozinha somente aos voluntários, pois os hóspedes nem sempre são amigáveis e fiquei sem usar o espaço várias vezes por tomarem conta de tudo e não se apressar.

My experience was good, i was told i arrived after some big changes and things were develloping during my stay, the place is in the middle of the forest so you will experience it and it will experience you both in good and bad, the people there are welcoming and open to dialogue, the activities were pretty straight forward and not demanding, cleaning floors, bathrooms and making beds for the guests, you have a lot of advangaes like going on some hikes for free. In the end i think this is a good place if you are ready to give up some comfort of the city for an authentic house in the trees

My experience at the hostel was a dream come true! I got to really immerse myself in nature and take some time to slow down and appreciate my surroundings. The hostel is located in a small town where you are apart of a local culture, and the most beautiful beaches are just a 15 minute walk away! It's also very easy to get into the main city by bus. It was a very peaceful environment to work in and I was able to learn lots of new recipes as one of the cooks! I would 100% recommend the hostel to volunteer at!

Al ser mi primer experiencia en VOLUNTARIADO, iba con muchas expectativas y curiosidades, haberlo podido cumplir ya me representa un logro y mucha alegría mas allá de algunas expectativas no cumplidas. El lugar me resulto mágico, así como dice "casa na arvore" cumple totalmente, es una casa de madera construida dentro la mata atlántica, uno esta inserto entre arboles y sonidos de animales, se convive con la naturaleza y esa es la mejor experiencia que viví. Mi mayor sorpresa fue no encontrar como anfitrión a la persona que me contacto la primera vez cuando me aceptaron la solicitud. GRACIAS!

The hostel welcomed me like a home, embraced me with green leaves and mesmerized me with bamboo fences. Working in the kitchen was wonderful, I learned a lot about cooking, music and other things. The house is amazing, full of artesanatos, animals, good people and music. Even the strongest mosquitoes didn't stop me from having a great time in this wooden house of art. I am grateful to this place for a month among the jungle 🙏🏻🌿🐸

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue maravillosa, cuidar de la casita es un agrado, pasar el día ahí cuando no tenía ganas de salir era un panorama ideal. Me sentí siempre como en casa, totalmente cómoda con Felipe y los otros voluntarios. Está cerca de playas preciosas, muchísima naturaleza, flora y fauna diversa. Además, hay buses para Paraty durante todo el día, de donde se puede ir a varias playas no tan distantes. Los perritos de la casa se quedan en mi corazón para siempre 💟 obrigada familiaaaa

This was my first experience as a volunteer on Worldpackers and it was absolutely wonderful. The Hostel is surrounded by rich nature and there were always new beaches, trails and waterfalls to explore. And with the city so close, there was nothing that I missed while staying at this place. I met a lot of amazing people that became gret friends and made countless new experiences and beautiful memories during my Stay. It was the perfect first experience for me and I would 100% recommend this place.
