A experiência

Join us in regenerating the land and creating a sustainable food system. You'll assist with clearing brambles, pruning trees, and removing invasive species to restore our forest. In addition, you'll help design and maintain our permaculture garden—planting, weeding, mulching, and harvesting. Together, we’ll regenerate the ecosystem, reduce fire risks, and create a thriving, self-sufficient landscape.

We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about nature and sustainability. In this role, you'll be directly contributing to the restoration of our forest and the expansion of our permaculture garden. You'll gain hands-on experience in forest management, organic gardening, and ecosystem restoration, all while being part of a welcoming and collaborative community. We expect you to be proactive, willing to learn, and excited to help with diverse tasks, from forest clearing to garden planning. In return, you'll receive accommodation and the opportunity to immerse yourself in a regenerative living environment.


Atividades & Turnos

Your daily activities will be focused on maintaining and restoring the forest and garden. Tasks will include:
- Clearing brambles and invasive species
- Pruning and caring for trees
- Planting, weeding, and harvesting in the garden
- Mulching and building garden beds
- Working on projects related to water systems and composting

The work will be physical and hands-on. You work 15 hours per week in exchange for accommodation. You can choose to work 3 hours per day 5 days a week or 5 hours, 3 days a week. We will agree to a schedule upon arrival.
You're expected to provide for your own meals. There is a communal kitchen where you can cook.

- Work independently and responsibly. Volunteers are expected to be self-motivated and take initiative in their tasks. Collaboration is key, but you will have the autonomy to manage your responsibilities with accountability.

- Contribute to a positive atmosphere. We aim to create a welcoming, peaceful, and productive environment. Your energy and attitude play a big part in shaping the community.

- Safety: Always prioritize safety, especially when working with tools, machinery, or in the forest.

- Tidiness and cleanliness are essential in both personal and common spaces. Volunteers are expected to clean up after themselves, contribute to shared chores, and ensure that common areas are tidy and pleasant for everyone. This includes kitchen spaces, bathrooms, and living areas. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a clean environment.
