Voluntariar no hostel foi maravilhoso! A anfitriã Connie é extremamente organizada, comprometida e uma pessoal incrível. O hostel é quase mágico, um lugar muito especial e aqui consegui me reconectar comigo mesmo, com a natureza e com a cultura local. Antes de começar o voluntariado Connie me ajudou com informações de como chegar ao local, e assim que cheguei fizemos um mini tour pelo povoado onde ela me apresentou as pessoas locais, isso me fez sentir muito bem vindo. Sou grato pelo tempo que estive no hostel e com certeza recomendo essa experiência para todos. Deixem Choachí te surpreender!

I spent a month at the hostel and it was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful, quiet, and welcoming. Connie, the host, prepares delicious healthy breakfasts every morning and is full of energy, ideas, and kindness. The work includes helping with room cleaning and creating social media content, with plenty of independence and creative freedom. The village, just 1.5 hours from Bogotá, is safe, green, and peaceful — ideal for reconnecting with nature. Highly recommend this place and its wonderful host!

I loved both the public and the private message. That idea hadn’t occurred to me before—honestly, I had so much more to say about your work with us, and I could have expressed it in a longer private note… In short, I truly enjoyed being part of a team with you. I felt as if we had already known each other, both on a work level and a personal one.

Choachi is a nice place for volunteering as you really get to have an authentic Colombian experience a bit off the beaten track but still close to and easy to reach from Bogota. the hostel is a lovely place and the host Connie is welcoming and truly wants you to have a great time at the hostel and in Choachi. She is also very open to new ideas and helps you plan activities for your days off, like a coffee tour or hikes and has lots of local recommendations. Will for sure visit again in the future!

I had a great time at the hostel. And would recommend it for any volunteer that's looking for a peaceful, and close to nature experince. Connie is an incredible host, she makes sure you feel like home. She is organized, transparent, very genuine and passionate about what she's doing. The place itself is beautiful and super inspiring. As a volunteer you also have your own independence, own space, own kitchen ect… there's a lot of different place you can work from. Choachi has a lot to offer, nature, restaurants etc… it's a great experience 🥰 Thank you Connie

Com certeza o melhor voluntariado que já fiz. A Connie é uma anfitriã incrível, super organizada com tudo, horários, tarefas, super flexível e sempre disposta a encontrar o que é melhor para os dois lados, com uma comunicação sempre aberta e muito clara. O trabalho é tranquilo, as tarefas não são difíceis, o hostel é bem calmo, bem limpinho e muito bonito. Choachí é um povoado que vai te surpreender. Apesar de ser pequeno, tem muitas coisas para fazer e conhecer (provavelmente mais do que você conseguirá fazer, queria ter mais tempo para poder explorar tudo). Connie, muito obrigado por tudo!

Começamos por Connie, uma anfitriã incrível que está sempre disposta a te ajudar, te aproxima da comunidade local e faz o melhor desayuno que eu conheço, focado no sabor e em alimentos naturais, fazendo com que seu dia já inicie com saúde. A casa tem tantas cores que é impossível encontrar algo menor que alegria, é pura arte, trabalhar aqui trouxe a tona meu lado mais criativo. O tempo passa mais devagar, sereno e suave, o dormitório te acolhe como se fosse uma extensão da sua própria casa. E os peludos? Bem, só vindo pessoalmente para sentir o amor desses bichinhos.

Pamela no solo aportó habilidades, sino también humanidad, sensibilidad y profundidad. Conectó genuinamente con nuestro propósito de turismo regenerativo, incluso antes de conocer el concepto. Entendió el "por qué" de nuestro trabajo y lo abrazó con compromiso y corazón. Su presencia fue un regalo y su aporte reflejó quién es. Recomiendo a Pamela a cualquier anfitrión que valore a las personas que suman de verdad.

My experience at the hostel and Choachi has been great introduction to World Packers. I travelled with my partner and Connie the host made sure that we were well taken care of, with her delicious breakfast and 10/10 local recomendations. If you are looking to a cozy town with a lot of character, Choachi is the place for you. There is great food, friendly and warm people, amazing hiking experiences and cute dogs everywhere! At the hostel, you will get experience with creating content for social media and managing aspects of the hostel. We highly recommend!

The experience at the hostel has everything that you could want as a volunteer. Choachi is a wonderful, quiet place to explore, feel safe and connect with the locals. As people who work in social media and multimedia, this experience allowed us to stretch our wings collectively and do some really cool content for the hostel and Choachi. The team at the hostel (including the 2 cats and dog Natasha, Sergio & Negra) were very welcoming. Connie, the main host, makes a wonderful breakfast daily and ensures that we were prepared and comfortable for any experience. We definitely recommend! ❤

We loved our experience staying at BnB the hostel. We stayed here for 4 weeks doing social media and artwork for the BnB and really enjoyed being able to use our skills to help the business. Connie was an amazing host, she made us feel really welcome and even introduced us to local friends and business owners which made us feel at home in Choachi. We had some amazing experiences out hiking and exploring the area, and the town centre. The BnB has a really homely feel, and you can chill out when you are not working. Also Connie's breakfast is delicious :) we recommend - thanks again!!
