My stay at Wat Phrai Phattana couldn't have been better, I felt welcomed and appreciated, not only by the host and other volunteers but also by the kids, who really stole my heart. I will come back as soon as I can!🤍

Volunteering the school within the Wat Phrai Phatthana temple has been a transformative experience. We taught little kids, monks, young football players and students from the local high school. Out of school hours, I enjoyed the stunning natural environment that surrounds the temple. The students are full of energy and love, eager to learn and grow, making each day special. As if that wasn't enough, I got to improve my Muay Thai skills and hang out with the local team on one of their fight nights. Thank you Channa, Nady, and Savon. You are the nicest hosts in the world! 🫰

I had a great experience at this place. It was fun teaching the children English and getting to know about the local Thai culture. There is not too much volunteering so plenty time to meditate, try out muay thai and read. The village really opened my eyes up to a simpler way of life and how we don't actually need most of the things in our life to be happy. This is a good place to get some inner peace.

I spent an amazing two months volunteering the school Thailand. It was such a rewarding experience from the teaching to the meditation and the Muay Thai. Every single day was a new experience with so much going on and yet it was so calm and chill I had a lot of free time to do whatever I pleased. Savon took care of me like I was part of her family. She was very attentive to all the volunteers and was always cooking delicious food for us. She truly made my experience so enjoyable and so fun. I felt completely welcomed by her and her family and built a great relationship with them all.

My experience the school Thailand went over and beyond my expectations. I loved teaching english to the monks and the students at the high school. I'll always carry everyone in my heart. About the organization itself, it's still developing and really needs people compromised with it and not just want to go for a vacation. Of course there's a lot of free time to walk around, go to market, visit temple, meditate with monks, etc. But still you need to be compromised with preparing good classes focused to each group and understand that these need your help to overcome their current situation. 🫶🏼

Being part of the school was a great experience that I will cherish forever, Savon and all the school family are truly amazing and they really care about the school and future of the children. All my time there I felt welcomed and appreciated, the work is helping teaching the kids, monks and high scholars in a time span from 9 pm to 3 pm, you need to prepare your class beforehand. During our free time I enjoyed delicious meals from Savon or Nadine 🥰, went to the markets and met the locals, had coco shakes and milk teas. I will work hard to be able to visit the school Cambodia soon! thank you all

Although my time the school Thailand was short, I loved every bit of it! Savon is really sweet and so accommodating, I felt right at home from day 1. It is so lovely to teach the kids, and the locals are so sweet and helping. I loved attending the local events held at the temple and meeting the head Monk. Definitely will be visiting again in the future hopefully and highly recommend it!!

Ha sido una experiencia muy bonita para mi. Trabajo de profesora en mi país y recomiendo enormemente hacer este voluntariado tanto para aprender de ellos como para aportar. Las ganas de aprender que tienen son increíbles. Respecto al día a día en el voluntariado, me ha encantado compartirlo con Savon y su familia y el resto de voluntarios. Hemos hecho muchas actividades y sobre todo disfrutado de los momentos más sencillos. También me he sentido muy querida y acogida por toda la comunidad. Recomiendo mucho esta experiencia.
