My stay in the Center was something extraordinary. All the monks were very helpful and caring and made sure we can experience the local culture. I learned something about buddhism, met locals, attended ceremonies, a dance class, tried local food and much more. For the work we visited schools and chatted with kids, played games and overall taught them some english. I felt welcomed and respected at this place and I highly recommend:)

My four days here were amazing. All the Bhantes that live here are super friendly and helpful. It is a great way to get an insight look on Buddhism and local life. I would recommend it 100% 🙏🏼

We had an amazing experience! Everything was so special and well organized! The food and the accommodation were great and clean. Volunteering at the school and being in the temple is an amazing experience! I learned a lot and felt very welcomed and comfortable there. Everyone was very open to answering questions and introducing the volunteer to their culture and religion.

I spent my last week on Sri Lanka in the temple and it was my best week during the trip! I felt welcomed from the first day. All Bhantes are very nice people, with big hearts, amazing knowledge and ready to share it with you! I had a chance to attend to ceremonies, Sunday school, practice meditation in amazing places. The food was amazing, temple and it's surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. After this experience I felt in love with Sri Lanka even more 🩵 Thank you for amazing time, hope to be back one day!

I had such an amazing time staying there! I got the opportunity to help teach children in local schools, visit school events and join the monks for meditation in the 3 days I stayed there. I got to see many nice places and met so many nice, local people! I'm excited to go back there once more!!😊

My time at this temple stay was an unforgettable experience!!! I stayed for a week and no two days were the same! Bhante Wasa and all the monks I met are so nice and welcoming and they will give you so much insight on Sri Lankan culture and the Buddhism philosophy. I also got to spend a lot of time teaching English to children in different schools which was lovely. I also learned how to practice meditation and was lucky enough to go to typical the Center ceremonies. Aside from that you will also have incredible food, get to meet locals and have the best possible introduction to Sri Lanka ☺️

I had the most amazing time at the temple stay. everyone was so kind and welcoming to us. we got to eat at local food vendors and we taught english at two local schools. we had a private room which was a bonus as well. i would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn about the sri lankan culture.

Staying with the monks was an unforgettable experience filled with kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality—I truly didn't want to leave. They not only welcomed us with open hearts but also introduced us to local families, allowing us to immerse ourselves in their culture and traditions in the most authentic way. Tasting exotic fruits, sharing stories, and witnessing their way of life made this journey incredibly special, and I will always cherish these moments.
