Agradecida con Michael y Osmara, son personas maravillosas Las excursiones todos los días a La Leona son increíbles, y muy dinámicas, me gusto mucho!! Lo que si es muy difícil coordinar otras actividades con el voluntariado, no por horarios, sino que dependes 100% de ellos o de un taxi para moverte, es un pueblo. La habitación podría mejorar y estar más limpia, pero fuera de eso recomiendo esta experiencia, la pase muy bien! gracias!!

My experience at Finca Curubandé was very enriching and special. I had the privilege of meeting incredible people who made my stay very enjoyable. Although the town is small with few activities available, if you're lucky enough to meet the right people, fun experiences and moments will always come up. My only suggestion would be to be a bit clearer about the facilities and services available, as, although solutions were found for some situations, there were certain promises that were not fulfilled. Despite this, it was truly a memorable experience.

Michael is extremely nice and helpful as well as the team. The wifi can be very basic if data is used up, otherwise it works fine. The campsite is ok and you will find a lot of people to spend your time with!

Had a wonderful time at the host, got to meet many people who worked in the area and everyone was very welcoming! Food from the soda was very good! Curubande is a very small town and would be great for anyone looking to live like the locals and enjoy nature!

We loved our time at Finca Curubande! On our two-person trip, Gatien worked as a tour guide, and I worked as a waitress in the village restaurant (helping with cleaning, dishwashing, and making drinks) Gatien learned so much about Costa Rican history and biodiversity.It was truly enriching. The restaurant staff were kind and welcoming, and Angela made us feel at home right away. I even got to go tubing and join a guided walk during my free time. Landscape are beautiful, we felt very safe, and enjoyed relaxing by the river. Michael and the entire village were really kind and helpful

Tuve una experiencia increíble en la Soda. Tuve la oportunidad de convivir con una familia costarricense, sumergirme en su cultura y conocer de cerca su forma de vida. ¡Solo eso ya habría sido maravilloso! Pero lo que lo hizo aún más especial fue la calidez de todas las personas que formaban parte de la Soda. Fueron muy amables, me trataron con mucho cariño y me hicieron sentir como en casa.

I loved my time at the host! Michael and the other guys were very nice and welcoming and I was able to meet a lot of amazing locals. The food was very good and the room was nice. I really enjoyed my work as well. The WiFi was not the best, but texting and calling was always possible. If you're looking for a relaxing place to connect with nature and other people, I would definitely recommend to try this experience!

If you are looking for a way to truly immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture, the host is the place for you! I had a lovely time and everyone there were super friendly and welcoming. The wifi is extremely basic at the office site, texting and phone calls are really all that worked. Buy a Claro sim because no other sim works in Curubande.
