No words can describe how nice volunteering in Sammatz was. One of the best experience I've had so far. The hosts are very sweet and they will make sure you feel comfortable with the work that has been given. The food was also excellent and I really enjoyed the cake time every afternoon. If you are looking for spending time in nature while having fun surrounded by beautiful people coming from all over the world, this is the place to be!

Viviane was such a great help during her stay with us! She jumped in everywhere with lots of energy – from daily tasks to spontaneous rides, and especially in our café where she did an amazing job. She’s super reliable, organized, and always kept a positive attitude.

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place! In Sammatz you get the chance to work in a variety of areas and learn a lot from each one of it. I spent most of the time on the construction site, and it was really fulfilling to be part of the Tiny Houses project, to gain hands-on experience and to share special moments with such an amazing team and leaders. I learned so much from both locals and volunteers from all over the world and I'll never forget the incredible connections I made here. I really look forward to coming back ☺️

It is difficult to put such a magical experience into words. I am still emotionally reeling from saying goodbye to so many amazing people! Sammatz is truly an incredible place for meeting people from different places, and forming wonderful friendships you will cherish for a lifetime. The other volunteers are what makes the experience so worthwhile (I miss them already!), and the members of the community that run everything are so patient to explain things (even if like me you are very forgetful and ask multiple times, thanks again Sara for your patience haha). I hope I can come back sometime ❤

Fue un placer haber formado parte de Sammatz como voluntaria, lo recomiendo 100%. La gente es increíble y convives con voluntarios de todo el mundo donde aprendes sobre nuevas culturas y prácticas varios idiomas, mientras trabajas en diversas áreas. Los casi 2 meses que estuve se me pasaron volando, a pesar de que estas en el campo, siempre hay algo para hacer, como disfrutar del lugar, asistir a eventos culturales o visitar ciudades cercanas. Sin duda volveria. Si tienen la oportunidad de aplicar, no lo duden.

Being in sammatz for a month was an unexpected experience, I enjoyed every single task. It's the 1st time I am volunteering in a foreign country. I took the decision by reading reviews over here saying "I will come back again" and it convinced me. No need to tell u that people did really come back to sammatz and more than once ! You have to experience it to understand how beautiful it is to live in a community and to take care of each other. What to expect : being surrounded by nature, by animals, people, practicing languages, learning abt cultures, playing music/games, working 6h30, cooking..

La experiencia en Sammataz fue maravillosa, es un lugar excelente para conocer personas de cualquier parte del mundo, tener un intercambio de idiomas y cultura. Se cumple con lo estipulado las horas de trabajo son 6.5 y son muy flexibles sobre cómo las puedes cumplir. Todo es muy confortable, las habitaciones son muy lindas y cómodas, el personal es fenomenal y muy dispuesto a colaborarte en lo que requieras, Fui con mi esposa y siempre tuvimos habitación privada, comida deliciosa ilimitada, lavandería y secadora, tiene espacios llenos de naturaleza, también para trabajo remoto.

Sammatz es un excelente lugar para lograr un intercambio de idiomas y cultura, con las horas de trabajo son flexibles respecto de las tareas que más disfrutas y el horario que mejor te quede (yo trabajo remoto así que esto fue súper valioso para mi). Todo es muy confortable, fui con mi esposo y siempre tuvimos habitación privada, comida ilimitada, lavandería y más… Para conocer otros lugares en Alemania, lo puedes hacer en tus 2 días libres (es cuando está disponible el transporte que te ofrecen para salir de la comunidad) . En general, lo recomiendo mucho, gracias por todo Sammatz ❤️
