Karen y Elaine fueron muy amables todo el tiempo. Las tareas eran sencillas y los tiempos acordados se cumplieron. El lugar es hermoso y muy acogedor, las anfitrionas te brindan todo lo que necesitas para tu estadía. Después de hacer las tareas del día, podés salir a caminar o en bici en los distintos senderos que hay. Super recomendado y si tengo la posibilidad, volvería nuevamente. Karen and Elaine were organized and kind hosts. We really enjoyed the work we did and had a wonderful time there. I would definitely recommend the experience to other volunteers and hope to return one day to see them and Charlie again ♥️

A peaceful place that allows you to experience Scotland. Karen and Elaine are incredible hosts who make you feel right at home. They also have four pets, especially Charlie, who is always looking for a cuddle. I recommend it to everyone as it's a moment they'll cherish forever.

Karen and Elaine were amazing hosts! They welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home from day one. The tasks were easy, the schedule was always respected, and they were very flexible. Karen is patient and hardworking, and they always encouraged me to explore Glasgow and the nearby cities. Their lovely cat Charlie also came to visit sometimes, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this experience and would love to come back.

I had the best time staying at the guest house with my partner. Karen & Elaine were so welcoming and kind. They communicated the required tasks well and were flexible. The work was enjoyable and rewarding. We got to da variety of tasks including painting, building a fence, moving and chopping wood as well as work in the garden. I loved staying in the cosy hut. It felt like a real home away from home. They really looked after us. We are already planning to return!

From first arriving at the guest house, Karen and Elaine were amazing and welcoming. A tour around the property and an explanation of what they would like to achieve gave both myself and my partner confidence we would be able to contribute in a positive way. Being our first Worldpackers stay it was very rewarding! The work was exactly as advertised and with plenty of time off to explore the area in the afternoons and days off. We loved it here that much, we are planning on coming back to volunteer some more!

I will never forget my time in Scotland volunteering for Karen & Elaine! I loved working outside on their stunning property every morning. If you enjoy being active and working in nature, this is the perfect opportunity! Karen & Elaine were so communicative and accommodating. They encouraged me to explore Scotland, and were flexible with my schedule so that I had plenty of time to do so. The shepherd's hut was perfect and Lenzie felt very safe. I already miss my time there (and their sweet cat, Charlie)! I absolutely hope to go back someday. Thank you Karen & Elaine!

My experience in this volunteering was wonderful! The region is beautiful, full of charming landscapes, and the house is super cozy — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature around. My volunteer experience at the guest house was interesting, pleasant & memorable. Karen and Elaine welcomed me with open arms & made me feel at home. Both were approachable, warm, generous, considerate and fair-minded. The accommodation was beautiful, spacious & very comfortable. The agreed terms were fully respected. They performed their obligations without shortcomings. Their country estate was peaceful, tranquil and uniquely beautiful. l highly recommend the guest house as a go to volunteer destination. This experience with Elaine and Karen was truly wonderful. Although I worked independently, I always felt appreciated and supported. They are exceptional hosts! kind, warm, generous, and thoughtful. From the very first day, they made me feel at home. They have such big hearts and are always willing care for their guests. I can't forget Charlie, the little kitten, who I will miss so much!
