I had two amazing weeks here! Great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and super kind staff! The tasks in the garden are easy and the guys are willing to tell you all about it (in spanish :) I would also definitely recommend taking spanish classes at the lodge. Thank you Jesse and team!

Mi experiencia en el alojamiento fue espectacular! Desde el principio me sentí súper acogida con Cami y luego el resto del equipo. Todos son súper atentos y cercanos. Ranfi y Leo nos explicaron muy bien el trabajo a realizar y fueron súper tranquis y pacientes. La actividad de intercambio del lenguaje con Carlos y yoga fueron súper! El lugar es hermoso y perfecto para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza y el alojamiento. Fue mi primera experiencia en este tipo de voluntariado y lo recomiendo 100% Recuerdos a todos, los extrañaré! (Incluida a la peque Sami🥹❤️

I loved staying in the lodge. The staff were nice, everyone was keen on organising everthing so that everybody enjoyed themselves to the fullest. The food is great! The beds are great! The work is great! I learnt a lot about farming and gained hands on experience on how things are dealt with in the garden. I loved caring for the chickens the most😆 On the last working day I got to enjoy a language exchange and a Salsa class.💃 If i were to name any bad moments is that one of the staff members was hitting on me and found it very difficult to take a no. Anyways, I would gladly return!❤️

I was supposed to stayed only one week but extended my stay for two more days because it really was wonderful. The work is super easy and amazing to be outside in contact with nature. 10/10 for the food 😍

I was only here for one week but I wish I'd stayed longer!! It was such a great place to volunteer and the work on the game was so varied and interesting. Also a great place to learn and practice Spanish as the lessons are great. The farm is beautiful and lovely to be able to swim in the nearby river to cool off after working in the morning. Lots of activities organised around the farming but also lots of time to relax. Great value and I would really recommend!!

I've spent two weeks volunteering at the lodge and I really enjoyed my stay. The permaculture courses were super interesting. They were only in spanish tho, but everyone was super nice and spoke „despacio“ and the other volunteers helped me translate when needed :) The hours are exactly as written online and they provide three delicious meals. A big thank you to dani& cami for making me feel super welcome in such a beautiful place. After work you have plenty of time to swim in the river, chill in a hammock, join activities like salsa, yoga or make your own chocolate. Would recommend!!!

Mi paso por el alojamiento fue hermoso :) Es muy fácil generar comunidad entre compañeras/os, todo el equipo está pendiente de que se pase una estadía armoniosa, se come delicioso, variado y se adaptan a tu tipo de alimentación. Además, se está rodeado de naturaleza, se aprende muchisimo de permacultura y del cuidado de la tierra. Todo ha sido maravilloso, estoy muy agradecida y feliz de haber elegido este lugar, definitivamente lo recomiendo. Mención especial a Dani, super atenta y amorosa. ¡Gracias! <3

This was my first Worldpackers volunteering experience, and I absolutely loved it! I gained valuable insights into sustainability initiatives, learned about the origins of permaculture, and experienced life in San Rafael while picking up useful travel tips. The team was incredibly responsive when unexpected situations arose, and their dedication to making this volunteering opportunity meaningful was truly commendable. Después de cerrar ciclos importantes en mi vida, decidí enfrentar mi miedo y ser voluntaria. Al principio, la extensión verde y las nuevas tareas parecían desafiantes. Sin embargo, sumergirme en la permacultura y trabajar con la tierra me mostró algo increíble: viajar internamente es explorar los paisajes que existen dentro de mí. La experiencia me ha enseñado que la verdadera aventura está en conocer y cultivar el alma. Ha sído increíble compartir con tanta personas diferentes, despiertar con el sonido el alojamiento y alimentarme tan rico. Gracias a todos, volvería y volveré.
