The hostel is right beside the beach with any facilities you would need close by. It was my first experience working in a hostel and it has definitely set the bar high for future experiences. It's a great place if you want to surf or if you're a beginner like me and want to learn! The staff and volunteers were all so lovely and I've made some great friends during my stay. I highly recommend this hostel to other people interested in volunteering.

It was one of the best adventures I ever had. It was also my first solo trip and first experience with worldpackers, but it's not the last one for sure! The work was fair and what they told me in advance, you work 5 days for 5 hours and have 2 days free. The shifts are sometimes busy, but always managable and everyone is super nice and ready to help. The hostel felt like home and the coworkers became my friends. You have a great surf spot literally 100 meters away and you can see the waves from the terrace! It's a dream 🥰 I would recommend the hostel for sure ☺️

I had a great time at the hostel. The location is perfect as it is right on the beach. The shifts are not bad and you have a lot of free time and flexibility. The hostel itself is also super nice and clean. I wish I could have stayed longer! ☀️

Volunteering at the hostel has truly been an amazing experience. It was my first time volunteering in a hostel and I can't wait to do it again. The manager and the rest of the team made me feel at home from the first day and always took time to answer all my questions. The work load is absolutely fair and there is always plenty of time to enjoy the island, surf and meet people. The hostel is a place I would have loved as a guest, so working there has been a true pleasure. Big bonus were the delicious avocados, fresh eggs and juicy papayas the owner brought from his Finca.

We are very happy that Lucie came to our hostel and volunteered. An extremely sociable, sweet and hard-working girl who is ready to help whenever needed. I loved my time spent at the hostel! The hostel facilities are very nice (amazing rooftop to cook and chill) and is probably one of the nicer hostels to volunteer at in Las Palmas. It is right next to the surf break and is also a great place to volunteer if you want to learn how to surf! Staff is super welcoming and there is a strong family vibe in this hostel. Family dinners are a regular occurence. Only comment would be about the benefits, there is really only accommodation included. I strongly recommend. You wont want to leave! Thanks everybody at the hostel for the wonderful time.

The hours of work are as agreed and the accommodation and hostel facilities are quite good. I personally didn't really connect with the vibe of the hostel and the majority of the staff but I'm sure someone else would have a good experience there. Thanks to Arturo in particular for being so nice about my decision to leave early.

I had a wonderful time at the hostel! Noémie's leadership is great and the hostel always felt like home. There aren't any meals included with this experience (we got a team meal for hitting a weekly goal), but the work was exactly as described and mostly reasonable. Can't beat the location and the local vibe is very relaxed and upbeat. Great for learning how to surf and making new friends. Loved my time in Gran Canaria 🫶🏼

The experience I had at the hostel had been just amazing! Both the hostel and the city of Las Palmas are great places to be! I had the chance to learn a lot about what is like to manage a hostel and I had the best time with the working team and the guests. The energy that surrounds this place is not comparable to anything else, I would recommend the experience to everyone. I would thank Noémie for being a present, responsible and reliable manager and great person and thanks to all the hostel team for allowing me to spend this time in paradise. 🌺🌊 It has been great! :)

The community and environment is incredible! I instantly felt welcomed into the team of staff and volunteers. Noemie is a great manager and dedicated to improving the place. The shifts schedule was flexible and I had plenty of time off to explore the island! The location is unbeatable with a view of the ocean. The hostel is small enough that you can get to know the guests and the staff team really well. I LOVED my time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled environment and meet lovely people! Thank you Noemie and team for this experience! xoxo

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy gratificante. Mi trabajo era en la finca y pasaba mis días en el hostel. Tuve la suerte de coincidir con un amigo y el trabajo fue más ameno. Hubo días en la finca que se nos hicieron pesados. Nada hubiese sido posible sin la coordinación de Pri, excelente persona que nos guió, ayudo, y mimo. Podría pasar horas escribiendo sobre estas semanas donde fui feliz. Gracias x todo lo compartido a Noe, Kirsten, Andrés, Laura, Alice, Day y Julia. Gracias a Pri por hacer nuestras jornadas más lindas y gracias Thomas por la posibilidad. Ojalá nos volvamos a ver!
