Wow! I just finished my first month here and I decided to stay longer. the school all, from the first minute Yat and his family make you feel part of their community! I feel at home far away from home. His two daughters and the baby are adorable! During the morning, you will have free time where you can go to enjoy a coffee, grab a bike and go around the village or just chill! Every afternoon, around 3 we go to school and teach until 6.30. You will be teaching together with a local teacher. He will guide you on how you can contribute! The kids are really passionate about learning! THANK you Yat!

This is easily been one of the best volunteering experiences for me! What Yat is doing for his community is something truly special. His story is so inspiring and encourages you to not only give your best at this placement but also feel immense amounts of gratitude. The community is as a welcoming and loving as anyone around. The kids, the pets & the life here is so simple yet beautiful. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who's looking to truly make an impact in this world!

Volunteering at Yat's school was a wonderful experience I will never forget! Yat's continuous commitment and hard work to the school and children is commendable. The students were very friendly and excited to interact/learn with, it was hard to say goodbye. I felt very welcomed by Yat his family from the start to the end, and got to experience so much in the village! From the tasty home cook meals to our time off, where we were taken bike riding around the rice fields at sunset and shown around local sites and markets. It was truly a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend.

Yat and his wonderful family were excellent hosts, they really helped me experience the local way of life with bike rides around the village, truly locals meals and letting me come along on extended family events. The work being done by Yat at his school I believe can truly make a difference in the children's lives. All in all it was an excellent experience and would recommend it to anyone :)

I am grateful for the opportunity to teach English and Chinese here. I also got to da paint project. The children are highly enthusiastic to learn and radiate love like sunshine. Yat truly has a heart for education and improving the lives of underprivileged children. I felt taken care of during my time here with comfortable lodging and delicious meals. Was happy to be able to visit the Angkor Wat during the weekend too!

This was my first time volunteering and it was truly an incredible experience. Yat and his family welcomed me into their family home and showed me the most authentic and traditional Cambodian culture, which Yat is very passionate about. The teaching itself was only in the afternoons so the mornings are free to explore the local area or sit at the cafe, Yat even took us on a tour of his village to local markets and temples. The children are absolutely adorable and it's hard not to get attached! I will be forever grateful to Yat for this opportunity and highly recommend to anyone considering.

I highly recommend this experience! Yat and Yat's family have been super! What Yat is doing is inspiring. The school is lovely, there are many possible activities to do there for the kids. I feel that the volunteers could be more taken care of with better communication on the task at school. Sometimes we felt a little bit lost. In any case what Yat is doing for the community and for these kids is incredible. The best thing of all.. the kids!!!

Yat's family is extremely welcoming and charming. I really recommend the experience to anyone who wants to get involved into Cambodian culture. The children in the school are ao thankfull and always smiling. Its waa really a fulfilling experience for me, apecially for knowing truly cambodian culture and society. The host was incredible so attentive to my every need, constant communication and really caring. I felt very comfortable in there home, unlimited drinking water, laundry and great food, access to motorbike and bicycle. I also loved the work it was only a few hours a day teaching students English and I volunteered extra by helping with social media and to write a few key documents. Would highly recommend was truly life changing and culturally immersive.
