A experiência

Our project is reforesting at the edge of the Amazon rainforest, so by creating social media content and bringing more people here you will be contributing to our reforestation efforts.
You will be doing videography, photography, sharing content on our social media platforms, creating videos and promotional content.

Descrição: We request everyone stay a minimum of two weeks, preferably more, and submit a $100 security deposit upon arrival. The security deposit will be returned at the end of your stay minus the cost of any community belongings you personally break or lose. For stays of less than a month, $50 of that will be kept as a donation to the community. Utilities are $25 per calendar month (not pro rata).

Detalhes

You will be working 20 hours a week, creating content for social media. We will give you materials to help with this, but you will need your own phone/camera, and optionally a computer.

Atividades & Turnos

You can spend 4 hours per day 5 days per week on creating content for our social media platforms. If you would like to help around the farm you are also welcome to join with that.

Regras

Food stuffs,

We have usually abundant bananas, papayas and some citrus year round. Other fruits like jackfruit, marang, starfruit, rollinia, peanut butter fruit, soursop, ice cream beans etc which come and go seasonally, and various roots for cooking when it's harvest time. We do not have enough food producing to feed everyone. Supplemental food can be bought at the market. Whole fruit and vegan food is the only food we allow.


Sleeping info,

We have spare rooms and beds, but not always spare bedding to borrow so you may like to plan on either bringing bedding and buying sheets and a blanket or two in town for your use. If we don't have any spare volunteer bedding, we also have some bedding put aside for rent (this is the nicer bedding that we use for events), it's $5 / week or $15 / month.
