Noreen has welcomed us into her home as if we were part of her family; she is delightful. For personal reasons, Haizea and I have to leave, otherwise, we would be more than happy to stay here.

The host is a kind person, and the location of the house is very beautiful. However, the experience had several negative aspects. The house is extremely cold, and the food provided was mostly expired or spoiled, which made the stay quite difficult. Additionally, when we arrived, we had to wait in the cold for an hour and a half. Another downside was the location, as the nearest supermarket is more than an hour away by bike, and we could only go when the host already had a trip to the city planned, with very limited time.

I am sorry to hear now that you didn't like your stay. The food was out of the freezer. Yes we do live in a very rural area. And it is winter in Ireland.

It was my first experience and i was very escared about stay one month with an unknown person. I have to say very thank you to noreen to have made me feel like at home. Thank you for the patience and for the trust you gave me. Noreen is a very good person, she will take care of you and will give lite and not difficult work , and the last she will improve you skills in designing manual jobs. She will enjoy stay in ireland knowing local people and the community. She has a beautiful lovely dog that she will not feel alone, she loves playing with her balls and she is very nice and kind.

Noreen gave me the opportunity to collaborate with her again, I appreciate the trust and all the good times, being here allowed me to continue learning new things, knowing with the community and with travelers from other countries, of the best experiments.

Our experience at the home exceeded our expectations 🙂 Noreen was kind, she helped us with everything. She made us feel at home. The work at the house is light, she is very flexible and understanding. Walking Murphy is the best part of the job 😍 We also got to know the local culture, we had fun dancing and drinking beer, we also enjoyed nature a lot. I really recommend it.

Noreen is a great host! Very flexible with work hours and tasks to be performed. During the time we were staying with her everything was great, she took us to various events, library, bars, dance classes, etc. It was very fun and allowed us to get to know the local culture. Totally recommended for all volunteers who want to get to know Ireland. We will miss our time at the home!

Esta experiencia ha sido increíble, era mi primer voluntariado y Noreen se encargó de que lo disfrutara al máximo, las tareas eran sencillas y nada complicadas, pude conocer mejor la cultura y costumbres del lugar, ella me involucró en sus actividades que eran muy interesantes. I had a very good experience with Noreen, as a first time volunteer through Worldpackers. She is a very warm, kind and understanding person. She is happy to explain if you don't know something and her approach is very calm. Work at her house is really not hard. She has the cutest dog Murphy and two cats Jazz and Twink. I really enjoyed every conversation with Noreen and I also very much enjoyed when she took me to see the Irish set dance.
