I had a wonderful experience at the hostel. It is centrally located and is a nice accommodation. The staff is friendly and always helpful. I also had a great time with the other volunteers <3The task were clear and easyy to complete. I even learned a few more words in German ahah. Thanks again to Jan for being so helpful and giving me the opportunity to stay at the hostel. A beautiful experience to meet nice people and the amazing Berlin! Danke, bis bald <3<3

I did house keeping at the hostel and the job was nice, it gave me a good routine whilst still being able to explore the city. The hostel has a strong family environment, which made my stay very enjoyable and sad to leave. I would love to do it again.

My stay at the hostel was short but very good, I met a lot of people from all over the world, the managers and the people in charge were always very nice to me and there are always fun events, I have very good memories of my stay, thank you very much to all the team😁

I had a really good experience, everyone treated me always nicely, both managers, coworkers and colleagues. Every month you get a timetable with your shifts, which is great for organising yourself. It's very close to Hauptbanhof, which makes it a great location, in the center and with a lot of transport options nearby. You must be willing to share room and bathroom with people and work like any other worker in the different types of shifts that you can be assigned. I made great friends there and I'll remember the experience forever!!

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel hauptbanhof. I spent two month there, mainly doing bar shifts and customer service which was nice. The staff was super welcoming and very cool to work with. Everyone also made sure that us volunteers were comfortable and that we were having a good stay in the hostel. The only negative thing I could say is that the place itself does not have a huge hostel vibe (a lot of school groups or older people, etc). Other than that great experience so I would recommend!

Julia and Jan are the best managers I could have worked with. The volunteer experience was amazing. The place is very well located in the city center. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The meals were incredible. I'm sure you'll love this place too. I hope to come back one day and stay longer. I loved everything about this volunteer experience. Volunteering at the hostel was a good experience, I expent 2 months and it was awesome l!! The tasks are easy , the team is friendly and laid-back. I got everything is offer and more like lunch and the meals are buffets so you have plenty of food . also as volunteer you have a private use of a fridge and washing machine, .you have enough free time to enjoy the city and the hostel is located in great place nearby to all the mean attraction of the city and to the main train station where you can take buses , trams and trains to any part of the city.

As volunteers are very new to the hostel, not everything has its order so far but they are trying to do their best. Nothing is easy at the beginning so sometimes you need to be patient but I really liked, that they put a schedule at the beginning of the month so everything was clear, when you need to work. It was also possible changing shifts with other volunteers and so on - it was very flexibel. If you already have appointment tell them in advance for the schedule- that's what I did. The amount of hours was okay, the location of the hostel is also fine and close to the main station. 7/10

Had a great time at the the hostel! The staff is very friendly and willing to help you, it's in general a very welcoming environment. I also found that they really cared about your time in Berlin and gave tips on what to do in your free time. The work itself was not really what it said when I applied but the tasks were pretty easy and chill so not a big deal. The location is pretty central and a 10 minute walk from the central station where there's lots of different trains/buses passing through which was convenient. Would recommend!
