El voluntariado se siente más como un trabajo (el anfitrión lo expresa así) no se siente el espíritu de voluntario ya que no explican cosas importantes, quieres aprender y el anfitrión no sabe nada, raras veces se aparece, habla con vocabulario vulgar. La cocina para los voluntarios tiene ratas, te recomiendan cerrar las puertas pero no funcionan, muchos voluntarios prefieren no calificar y no poner un comentario realista para que el anfitrión no los califique mal, las instalaciones para dormir están bien, trabajamos increíble a pesar de todo y agradecemos la estancia pero no la repetiríamos.

Our time with Karen and the rest of the volunteers was a complicated one. I had just recently returned to my roll as manager after becoming a father and trying to manage everything at times got complicated but I thought that the group understood my situation. On the other hand we did have falling out at time over the situation of the volunteers kitchen because after various precautions and aid they still managed to keep the kitchen in such a unhygienic state it was disrespectful and hurtful.

Como pareja disfrutamos mucho esta experiencia, agradecemos la oportunidad de ser aceptados y poder trabajar juntos, además nos dieron nuestro propio lugar para dormir y eso para las parejas es indispensable. Aprendimos a realizar tareas muy variadas y nuevas para nosotros. Al ser tareas nuevas para muchos uno tiende a cometer errores, nada grave pero son evitables si se da la supervicion adecuada y entrenamiento correcto a los nuevos voluntarios. Si quieres aprender cosas nuevas y estar en contacto con los animales este voluntariado es perfecto y los alrededores están llenos de playas.

My stay at the farm was a wonderful volunteer placement. All the wonderful staff and volunteers made me feel very welcome and I was able to share a great time with them. I spent the whole time looking after the animals, which was also a lot of fun. Sam and his family are very responsive to the needs of the volunteers. The working hours are also very fair with two days off a week. I can definitely recommend it and wish everyone at the farm all the best.

Sam and his whole family are very kind, fun and I enjoyed being with them a lot. They're all super nice and helpful at all times, making sure you've got everything you need. I felt very safe and at home at their place. Working with the animals was exciting and a special experience for me. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a not too busy area, which still offers great opportunities and things to do in your free time, meeting new people and very well organized and fun work. Will come back for sure! Thank you guys so much for everything!

Staying at the farm was my first Worldpackers experience and I really enjoyed it. Sam and his family are really nice and welcoming. The place is really cozy and the work especially with the animals easy and fun. I am really great that I had the opportunity to make this experience and would definitely recommend it!

We spent 4 weeks at the farm and had a very nice time. Everyone was very nice, so there was always a pleasant atmosphere. We always felt at home and will remember this wonderful experience for a long time. For the most part, we looked after the animals, which was a lot of fun. Sometimes we also did gardening or manual work, which wasn't that difficult. We can definitely recommend it!

I am really grateful to have been able to volunteer in the farm. Sam is very nice and welcoming and so are all the other people who work there. The most important thing for me is having a positive and supportive energy around me and I felt that. The animals are absolutely lovely and I loved being able to work with them and try to understand their world. I would recommend for anyone searching to connect to nature and animals:)

I'm really glad I chose this as my first wp experience! Sam and his family were incredibly welcoming, and you will fall in love w the animals there:).The place was beautiful, with a good location close to nearby cities and beaches, accessible by bike or affordable Ubers. Public transport was limited.My tasks included kitchen work (cleaning plates and tables),animal care, and gardening. I stayed in a room for 5 people which was intimidating at first. The free lunch was always good. Some of the volunteers/staff didnt understand english that well so the communication was sometimes a bit harder.

I am so happy that i chose central the farm as my first worldpackers experience. I spent 5 amazing weeks with lovely people and joyfull work. Everyday is different and you will try a lots of different stuff. You can work with the animals, which for me was the best, gardening or some other work that needs to be done. Sam is understanding and if you tell him you would rather do some other job he will try to place you more on these positions- ofc its not possible all the time:) It was really good experience and im planning on coming back:) Thank you Sam :)
