This place is amazing! I had such a great time volunteering here. Sam and James are the best — always making sure you feel comfortable and at home. Sam knows so much and has a ton of patience to explain everything, which I really appreciated. I also got to improve my English just by spending time with them. I'm so grateful for the experience and I'm really going to miss them... and of course, I'll miss Nuddle (the sweetest dog ever), and Doris and Miriam. Thank you for everything!

Best experience ever. Sam and James were super welcoming hosts and I felt right at home right away and the whole time I was there. The other volunteer Anto was also amazing and we learned and did so much- gardening, forestry, pool cleaning, sewing, housekeeping, cooking and baking, and chicken care (we gave one of the chickens a bath literally my first day there). Sam is really keen to share stories and everything she's learned in her life (and she knows a LOT) and James is lovely to just have a chat with. The guests great to get to know and you'll feel like a part of the family, I loved it ❤

My first volunteering experience was amazing! Sam and James welcomed me so well, and the house was super cozy. And the food? Absolutely delicious—I loved every meal! The work was sometimes demanding but never too hard, and always rewarding. They explained everything clearly, and I felt comfortable asking questions. I also worked with Meg, an Australian volunteer, who was super kind and supportive. We explored nearby places, and my English improved a lot. An experience full of learning, teamwork, and great memories. Highly recommend—safe, comfortable, and with incredible food!

I had such a wonderful time with Sam and James! They welcomed me into their home, taught me so much about the local area and sustainability. The accommodation is awesome, the food is delicious, and you get to work in such beautiful spaces. Great for people who want to see the countryside and get outdoors. A huge thank you to Sam and James for the opportunity!

Amé esta experiencia, aprendí muchísimo, me sentí como en casa, la comida siempre estuvo súper sana y deliciosa, me tocó ir en noviembre y hacía muchísimo frío, así que debes llevar ropa adecuada. Sam y James son personas increíbles. Depende de la época en la que vayas serán las tareas que te toquen, así que lee bien la descripción. A mí me tocó ensuciarme las manos (literalmente) y me encantó! Es un lugar precioso, rodeado de una naturaleza increíble y alejado del ruido. Gracias por todo 🖤

Sam and James are fantastic people. They have created something truly impressive for themselves in the guest house, and it is to everyone's advantage that they are so open to sharing it. Their home is beautiful, the surrounding region is beautiful and they are too! Sam is truly lovely, she is a fountain of knowledge and an intellectual of many stripes. She can teach you about many things and her cooking is amazing - you can learn so much from them. James is a gentleman with many experiences and we got on like a house on fire. I could write a tome on how positive my stay was. You simply must visit.

Sam and James are so welcoming, and they will make you feel at jome immediately! They have everything you need, the food is great and you can even go to karaoke in the nearest town. I really enjoyed the 2 weeks I stayed here and I fully recommend this!

Sam and James are lovely and terrific hosts. It was my first volunteer and I couldn't have asked for bette place to it. They are absolutly passionate about they do. I felt warm and enjoyed a lot my stay very much. This experience helped me to improve a little bit my english skills. Sam is a deep fountain of knowledge, she shared with me a lot of cooking tips. James is a kind and great person. The task nothing difficult to do it, don't hesitate to ask if you don't know something. the guest house is mind blowing. Sam and James I hope to see you soon, greetings to Jeff!!

I cannot imagine better hosts than Sam and James, a lovely couple. They are incredibly patient, showing me everything with care and passion. Their generosity knows no bounds—they offered help whenever I needed it. They have a unique gift for seeing the beauty in everyone and are always quick to share kind words and encouragement. Living with them felt like a fairy tale, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, wonderful people, and their adorable dog, Princess Noodle. They are truly amazing!
