Volunteering at the hostel was a great experience and I really enjoyed my time. The work is 5 hours of reception a day/ or taking guests on one of the scheduled hostel activities. Rayson and Cheryl were very nice and welcoming to all the volunteers. The hostel is very clean and the beds are very nice :)

Great experience! The job duties are exactly as stated, great hostel and easy work. Great way to meet new people and super fun activities with a lot of free range to explore or try other things

This is an incredible place to volunteer that I would recommend to EVERYONE!! The hostel is very social but not a party hotel so it's a really laid back, friendly vibe - this makes it really easy to meet people and the activities are so fun to get involved in! The work-load is really reasonable with around 5 hours a day on reception/hosting activities on other days plus one full day off every week. Georgetown is a lovely place to settle down & relax and I can't think of anywhere better to spend your time than the hostel - I extended my time here & still didn't want to leave…

My the hostel experience could not have been better! The hostel is clean, comfortable, and very social. The responsibilities included checking guests in, managing reception, and taking guests out on various activities. Activities include food tastings, night markets, karaoke nights, pub crawls, sunset jetty walks, trivia nights, etc. Cheryl and Rayson were super welcoming and kind. They did not micromanage, loved when we shared our ideas, and opened to suggestions. I loved it here so much that I extended my stay for a few weeks:)) highly recommend working at this hostel!

Disfruté mucho mis dos semanas en este voluntariado, me permitió no solo disfrutar todas las actividades que Penang ofrece, si no también conectar con otros voluntarixs y viajerxs. Los horarios y las tareas se respetaron tal lo pactado. La ubicación del hostel es estratégica, cerca de street food y street art. Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar para voluntariar :)

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. Thank you Cheryl and Rayson for making me feel welcomed, Thank you to all the volunteers that I worked with for the epic memories. Im going to miss all the friends that I made and all the adventures we went on. This was truly a home away from home, I definitely plan on coming back ❤️

This was my first volunteer program and I am so happy it was this one! the hostel was my family, the owners Cheryl and Rayson are super nice and will take you to eat somedays and do things. The atmosphere with the other volunteers was amazing, as I said, we were all a small family looking after each other and having a lot of fun! The job is reception 5 hours a day and some activities like Bar Hopping, Beer Pong, Temple day, Hiking day, Trivia night, Music bingo and Karaoke night. Also you get one free beer per day. Breakfast is included (toast and jam/peanut butter) and free water. <3

I had an unforgettable time at the hostel! The tasks were easy and the workinghours were chill. the hostel is very social and cosy! I had a great time with the other volunteers❤️And georgetown is nice city! I would definitely recommend this place.

I had a really nice experience volunteering in the hostel All the volunteers were really nice and responsable. We worked together, went out for partys, food and activities The volunteers run the hostel The acomodation is really good and it's one of the most social hostels I've stayed

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! Rayson and Cheryl are great hosts and the whole volunteer team became a second family ❤️ The work is super easy and you get sooo much free time to socialise and join tours etc. I would 100% recommend this experience to other backpackers!
