Volunteering at the school, teaching English to children aged 3 to 16, was truly rewarding. The children's enthusiasm made each lesson special, and I felt a real sense of fulfillment. Staying with Mama Orn felt like a second home. They welcomed me warmly, and I quickly became part of their family. I will always cherish my time there. A special thanks to Yat, the founder, for making this experience possible. Mama Orn and her family will forever have a special place in my heart, and I hope to visit again soon.❤️🙏

We had such a great experience, it was our first volunteering and we highly recommend to anyone to help Yat's project! Yat is so kind and he loves so much his kids and the school! You can see on his eyes how much he loves what he is doing! Mama Orn is amazing and cook delicious food every single day! Thank you so much for having us! We had such a nice experience! We wish we could stay longer!

My first experience as a volunteer and it was incredible ! I stayed two months here and this was the best decision ever ! Yat is amazing, he's doing so much for the kids and he's so committed to his school ! The experience is so great you see kids from very different age from 4 to 18 years old ! Also the family is so welcoming, Mama Orn is the best cook, you'll have the best traditional dish ever ! I'm already missing them so much and I hope one day I can come back 🫶🏻

Helping Yat's project was a great experience in the school for us! We had learned so much from these kids and every single day with them was a joy in our life! Yat introduced us to his beautiful family and they welcomed us very well. Mama is amazing and she is always taking care of everybody! The project is beautiful, a great opportunity for these kids to learn English and have a better life!

I had an amazing time and would recommend 100% go for it to anyone considering volunteering with Yat. Mama Orn is fabulous and so are all her home cooked meals. The children are great and I miss them already. My advice would be to stay longer than a week if you can because you won't want to leave !!❤️❤️

I am so happy with my stay here. I got to experience new things and learn about how life is in rural the school. Yat has an amazing life story and dedication to his work and Mama Orn gave us fantastic accommodation and food. Unfortunately we could not stay as long as we intended due to some health problems but I would really recommend this place. I will miss the people and community!!

Excellent experience volunteering. The host Mama was amazing and very helpful, starting with getting the big bugs out the room to making special food for all diet requirements. The food was out of this world with fresh and delicious meal done twice a day. Breakfast might be a bit humble but definitely enough. The rooms were clean and looked after with fans and the window protection things so bugs don't get it. Only one bathroom so all volunteers need to share but didn't run into any issues throughout the week. Work was also very rewarding and touching… kids are amazing and need all the help!

It was our first volunteering experience and we're glad we chose this one! Yat is an amazing person! He has done a great work regarding the school and he contributes a lot to his community. He made each and every one of the volunteers feel included and he was excited to show us the way locals live in the village. Mama Orn prepared amazing meals for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The classes were very fun, the kids are clever, curious and eager to learn. We miss it a lot already! Yat and Mama Orn are super welcoming and if there is anything you need they will try organise it for you. The food was great with vegan and vegetarian options. You have to create your own lessons so be prepared the day before and try and think of activities and a lesson plan for the day ahead. Overall a great experience.
