It has been a pleasure to be the first volunteer who has had the opportunity to enjoy the farm. The work isn't hard and mainly involves cleaning a neighboring house or helping in the fields. It's an ideal place to practice your Japanese; I've greatly improved mine in two weeks, although don't worry if your level isn't very good, they're very patient and have no problem explaining things to you as many times as you need. Baba, Miyukisan, and Katsuhikosan have been the best hosts in the world, and I take with me a great memory and a place I can always return to whenever I need :)
