The place is stunning, Carlos is super welcoming and make sure you have everything what you need, he also accepted to have a friend of my volunteering with, was amazing to be part of his project. His parents also are super sweet, he and his mom cook really good food ! I truly recommended ❤️

Simplemente todo excelente. Carlos muy amable, la finca lindísima, el ambiente realmente de la casa, la naturaleza bellísima, trabajo agradable, comida rica, animalitos lindos... así puedo seguir por una hora. Les recomiendo a todos!

The volunteering was a nice experience. There's a variety of tasks which were really fair and you can adjust them to your ability. Carlos is a nice and welcoming host. His farm is located in a beautiful surrounding which is worth seeing.

Carlos was a really friendly and carying host. The atmosphere was chill and the tasks were more than fair. The nature is amazing and there are some activities to do (e.g. lagune, waterfall, ...) I would definetly recommend it!

I felt welcome at Carlos Finca from the first day. For a few days, I stayed there alone with the dogs (they are so cute) and the cat, since Carlos visited his parents. It is the perfect place to enjoy nature, practice Spanish and help developing Carlos project. After working in the mornings, we cooked, visited some villages, played cards and did a bonfire. I enjoyed the short time we spent there together and Carlos always tried his best to come up with activities and trips to get to know the area and people. Apart from that you can hike in the mountains and escape from the busy city life.

I really like this farm. It's a good a place to connect to the nature. It's very beautiful. There is good place to visit (Gacheta, Gachala, Ubala...).

El proyeto fue mi primer voluntariado, dónde no pudo haber sido mejor. Carlos y su familia hacen que disfrutes cada instante, así que te sientes en un ambiente de confianza. Soy del departamento de Cundinamarca, y no conocía la Provincia del Guavio, la cuál es un paraíso escondido, tuve la fortuna de conocer los pueblos cercanos y hacer rutas de senderismo, así que si o si es un lugar para conectarte con la naturaleza. La comida es deliciosa y el trabajo es variado, así que aprendes mucho y al final del día quedas con la satisfacción de haber aportado al proyecto. Lo recomiendo ❤️

I had a great experience volunteering here! Carlos and his father are very kind, the work is manageable and Carlos was very respectful of my time and did his best to help me get to know ubala and the surrounding areas. Keep in mind that this is a very rural area—there is good hiking and beautiful views, but otherwise there is not much to do and even getting groceries is a bit of a challenge because the farm is a few miles from the town of Ubala. Nonetheless I highly recommend!

Carlos y su Padre, Pedro, han hecho de esta estancia algo inolvidable. Estar en la finca es como estar en el paraíso, un lugar precioso con gente muy buena en todos los sentidos. Nos acogieron bien desde el primer momento y nos hicieron sentir parte de la familia. El trabajo es genial, aprendes mucho y conectas con la naturaleza. La comida una maravilla, con la suerte de probar comidas típicas de la zona y muy ricas. Una experiencia que llevaremos siempre! GRACIAS.
