I absolutely loved it there! Fanja and Luca are some of the most caring and funniest people I ever met. My friends and me lived on their boat and we really enjoyed it there. We had the possibility to also meet their friends and they were so nice as well, we felt welcomed the second we met them. They also took us to a lot of events within their friendgroup. Fanja's cooking is so good and tasty. The dog is also so incredible sweet! The work wasn't difficult to understand and made a lot of fun, especially because we could listen to music :)

The experience was really great! Fanja and Luca are the sweetest. They are extremely caring and and the atmosphere on board is very friendly and relaxed. It almost feels like you are one big family. Working on the boat was fun and the task were not too difficult. The surroundings (La Spezia and everything around it) are really beautiful. We almost didn't want to leave. Stella & Ella :)

My three weeks with Fanja, Luca & Gancho were a unique and rewarding experience. Their passion for what they do and the high standards they strive for were clear; however, communication around these standards could sometimes be a bit challenging. They were warm and welcoming, making me feel part of the family through shared meals and great tips for exploring the area on days off. I also loved meeting other volunteers and Worldpackers, which added to the experience. Flexibility was key, as plans would often change due to weather or other commitments. Thank you Luca & Fanja for the opportunity!

This was my first experience in a boat, at first was a bit difficult for me since I didn't know anything about the life in a boat and what requires from you, but in time and with good communication with the hosts Fanja and Luca , I managed to immerse myself in it. I thank them both for being patient and for open a space to communicate openly about anything that may come. They gave me enough time and great recommendations to explore places around La Spezia and I truly enjoy this experience
