The volunteer will be responsible for creating awareness plastic waste prevention and response. He/she will use different ways of awareness creation like community dialogues, stakeholder meetings, radio talkshows, and school outreach sessions.

Descrição: Volunteers pay $210 that caters for their breakfast and lunch meals, transport from the airport and back. This is because we as a host organization pay for their accommodation, dinner, and transport to and from the field within the country.

Kasese District is faced with a challenge of plastic waste that's being caused by many different factors. Majority of the people don't know that plastic waste is bad in relation to climate and hence they're not aware of their role in reducing the use of plastics.
The major role of the Waste Management Volunteer will be creating awareness to the people on reusing and reducing the use of single-use plastics in order to fight climate change in Kasese and Uganda at large.

Activities:
1. Conducting community dialogues on plastic waste management.
2. Conducting stakeholder meetings on plastic waste management.
3. Conducting school outreach sessions on plastic waste management.
4. Reporting


Regras

Rules:
1. Volunteer should be non-discriminatory in terms of gender, race, and culture.
2. Volunteer should be a nature loving person.
3. Law abiding person with no record of having been engaged in terrorism activities.
