L'expérience

NCCI is seeking a passionate fundraising volunteer who will be with us to contribute directly to our mission of advancing community-centered climate solutions, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting environmental justice in our vulnerable communities.
He/she will work with our team to design and support fundraising strategies, identify potential donors, and prepare good proposals to secure for our climate resilience and green tech projects.

Description: Volunteers pay $210 that caters for their breakfast and lunch meals. This is because we as a host organization pay for their accommodation, dinner, and transport to and from the field within the country.

Détails du programme

The Namsal Climate Concern International (NCCI) Fundraising Volunteer Program is a short-term, three-week initiative designed to engage international volunteers in mobilizing resources for impactful climate action in vulnerable communities. Volunteers collaborate with NCCI’s leadership and program teams to design fundraising strategies, identify and approach potential donors, and craft persuasive proposals to support projects in climate resilience, environmental restoration, and green technology adoption.
This program aligns with the UNSDGs and the Paris Agreement, focusing on reducing carbon emissions, promoting environmental justice, and empowering communities to adapt to climate change. Working with Namsal Climate Concern International, participants will strengthen their understanding of grassroots climate solutions, and contribute to building a sustainable future.


Activités et horaires

Activities
Collaborate with NCCI leadership to design and refine fundraising strategies.
Research and identify potential international donors, partners, and grant opportunities.
Draft and edit compelling funding proposals and concept notes.
Support the creation of fundraising campaigns for social media and other platforms.
Build and maintain a database of donor contacts.
Assist in strengthening NCCI’s global donor network.
Participate in project site visits to understand local needs and impact stories for donor communication.

Shifts:
Morning Shift (9:00 AM - 12:30 PM): Research, proposal writing, and strategy meetings with the team.
Afternoon Shift (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Donor outreach, campaign development, and field engagement.
Flexible Hours: Occasional evening or weekend sessions for virtual meetings with international donors in different time zones.
Though these can be amended when the volunteer is on ground.
