I absolutely loved staying in Sammatz. It's the perfect place to stay and connect with other volunteers from all around the world and practice languages (especially Spanish and Portugese). Definitely recommended :)

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y fue exelente. Me senti muy comoda desde el principio. Las tareas son muy diversas y me hicieron sentir muy bien en cada una de ellas. El lugar es muy lindo y lleno de naturaleza. Si no sabes Ingles, es el lugar para aprender. La gente es muy amable. Recomiendo por completo el lugar.

Mi primer voluntariado y 100% recomendable, me sentí muy cómodo y pude aprender sobre distintas tareas. Los trabajos son muy diversos y no son complicados. Es hermoso convivir con tantas culturas diversas al mismo tiempo y poder aprender cosas nuevas. Lo recomiendo.

Sammatz is heaven on Earth! The hosts are super kind, nice, friendly and open people as well as respectful. They offer everything you need for a amazing experience, from food to events. There is a wide range of areas you can work with, from garden to stables, kitchen and more. In Sammatz you will learn also about community lifestyle, sustainability, and culture. Weather be it from German culture to everywhere in the world, including languages and culture and ways of living. This is my second time here and perfect as always! It is always sunny and summer in Sammatz (even when it is raining!) ❤️

Es una increíble experiencia, conoces personas maravillosas, te brindan todo lo que ofrecen, el horario de trabajo varía dependiendo del área en que escojas trabajar, yo trabajé en cocina y trabajaba 4horas y media en la mañana y en la tarde otras dos horas que variaban dependiendo de la ayuda que necesitaban así que cada día era un horario diferente. El lugar es bellísimo está rodeado de naturaleza, los dormitorios son cómodos y los otros voluntarios hacen un ambiente muy divertido y te sientes en casa, como una segunda familia.

Jennifer and Kevin are very lovely volunteers. They immediately fell into their appropriate teams, kitchen and construction, and helped there very continuously and reliably. Really great for teamwork. They also quickly made friends with the other volunteers. Thank you for the good cooperation and living together!

I was honestly really scared to come here because I wasn't sure what to expect. I've never lived with a bunch of people I've never met before. But within 10 mins of getting to Sammatz I realized I had made the right decision. As soon as I sat down at one of the living room tables, a few people sat down next to me and made me feel included and welcomed. I quickly realized that's how everyone in Sammatz is. So kind, so inviting, so welcoming. The people I met and the memories I've made will always hold a special place in my heart. If you're thinking about coming here, you should! :)

This is my first time in Germany and Europe. I was a little bit afraid at first because of what I heard about German culture and people. In Sammatz I found a place that welcomes in a really warm way. I decided to extend my stay a little longer because of the people, work and nature. I'm part of the construction team that works every day building the new houses for the community. I've learned a lot about home electrical installations, and construction. This place philosophy is really interesting. Here, sustainability, getting along with the community and nature are the most important topics.

Sammatz is truly a unique place! It was my first volunteering experience and I had no clue what to expect but I guess one must come to experience it themselves😄 I fell in love with the nature and volunteers there, everyone is so welcoming and right from the first days I felt completely comfortable as if I had been living there for years. Talking about hours, there is always a lot of work in Sammatz. So if you decide to come here you should not be afraid to get your hands dirty and sweat a little bit. Overall, I'd really recommend the place, I think a month or two is ideal to get to know it!

I'm having so much fun in Sammatz, this is the best place I could possibly be right now. Everyone is amazing here. Everything is well organised. I would definitely recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for having created such a beautiful atmosphere!

My experience at Sammatz was the happiest experience of my life. It was my first volunteer job and it couldn't have started better. The people are amazing, very motivated and inspiring. The place is simply wonderful, probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The work is hard but the hours are strictly observed to and the benefits of being a volunteer are countless - the best part is the cake and coffee in the afternoon hehe. I felt very welcomed and at home. Can't wait to go back!! Thank you to all Sammatzians for this incredible experience!!!
