This is my first time in Germany and Europe. I was a little bit afraid at first because of what I heard about German culture and people. In Sammatz I found a place that welcomes in a really warm way. I decided to extend my stay a little longer because of the people, work and nature. I'm part of the construction team that works every day building the new houses for the community. I've learned a lot about home electrical installations, and construction. This place philosophy is really interesting. Here, sustainability, getting along with the community and nature are the most important topics.

Sammatz is truly a unique place! It was my first volunteering experience and I had no clue what to expect but I guess one must come to experience it themselves😄 I fell in love with the nature and volunteers there, everyone is so welcoming and right from the first days I felt completely comfortable as if I had been living there for years. Talking about hours, there is always a lot of work in Sammatz. So if you decide to come here you should not be afraid to get your hands dirty and sweat a little bit. Overall, I'd really recommend the place, I think a month or two is ideal to get to know it!

I'm having so much fun in Sammatz, this is the best place I could possibly be right now. Everyone is amazing here. Everything is well organised. I would definitely recommend to everyone! Thank you so much for having created such a beautiful atmosphere!

My experience at Sammatz was the happiest experience of my life. It was my first volunteer job and it couldn't have started better. The people are amazing, very motivated and inspiring. The place is simply wonderful, probably the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The work is hard but the hours are strictly observed to and the benefits of being a volunteer are countless - the best part is the cake and coffee in the afternoon hehe. I felt very welcomed and at home. Can't wait to go back!! Thank you to all Sammatzians for this incredible experience!!!

I have been here for three months and I can say that it has been an incredible experience. The people in the community and the volunteers make your time an adventure that I highly recommend. The activities are very varied and you can "pick and choose" what area you would like to work in. The work schedule is a bit long but you really enjoy your time there. The rooms are very comfortable as well as all the facilities in general. I am really happy to be in this place and I recommend it without any doubt if you want to experience country side and farm work.

The place is very beautiful, we are close to nature, fresh air which makes the experience even better. The house where we stayed is very well organized, it has a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms and bedroom. About the food, we had lunch at the restaurant and we have food available at all times in the house's pantry.

Great atmosphere, close and familiar. Especially for a first volunteer. You share a lot with a lot of diverse people. Thanks Sammatz ❤️ Este ha sido mi primer voluntariado y más que un voluntariado ha sido una experiencia de vida. Me llevo gente increíble, momentos maravillosos y una gran familia. Como es mi primera experiencia wordpackers no sé si sé trabaja demasiado, trabajamos pero también nos dan mucho a cambio. Yo solo puedo dar las gracias por la oportunidad de conocer a toda esta gente que me ha marcado. Si tienes dudas respecto a venir o no, la respuesta es que lo vivas tú mismx.

La mejor experiencia de mi vida, he vivido un poco más de 5 meses aquí y todo ha sido increible! Los locales son muy amables y respetuosos, los voluntarios hacen de tu experiencia la mejor y en cuanto a los beneficios que ofrecen, sí! todo es real. Se escucha muy bien para ser cierto y lo es, solo recomendarte que si vienes; estes muy dispuesto a integrarte a su cultura, sus reglas y su forma de trabajar. También debes tomar en cuenta que son una comunidad muy conectada y si vienes; procura venir en verano, te la pasas muchisimo mejor . LOS AMO SAMMATZ, gracias por ser mi segundo hogar❣️
