I had an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! The hostel is very nice, clean and cosy. The work is nothing hard and almost always finished before 1:30PM, which leaves plenty of time to explore the city and its surroundings that are spectacular. Una and Nicole are always very enthusiastic and happy to help with anything and to give valuable recomandations. I hope I can come back to the hostel soon!

The work schedule is well-organized and clear, with manageable tasks that make it easy to plan your days. Hualien is a peaceful, charming place, perfect for connecting with nature and relaxing. Meeting Aga, Una's husband, and Nicole, her sister, was also a highlight—they're both lovely and added to the experience. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a meaningful and enjoyable time in Taiwan!

I had a great time at the hostel and enjoyed every day I spend in Hualien! Every day I woke up with a smile on my face, because I could see the mountains from my hostel bed and once I made my way downstairs I was greeted by the warmest smiles and good mornings from Una and Nicole! I will definitely miss their positive energy! The help around the hostel involves easy cleaning and housekeeping tasks and I usually finished around 1:30 pm, giving me the rest of the day to do whatever I wanted. You can also choose your day off - Una usually checked the weather for me! :)

Volunteering for the hostel was really great! Una and the team were very kind and welcoming, and helped me get to know Hualien and Taiwan in general. There are lots of places around where you can go for a coffee, to get food, places you can cycle to etc. Staying there was quite peaceful but fun at the same time. The work is very reasonable and straightforward. I hope to come back some day soon.🙂✌️

I really loved my stay at the hostel! The amount of work we had to do was very reasonable and the hostel is very cosy place, where you can easily meet lots of other travellers. Una is also a great host, who can give you recommendations for pretty much anything. She also always made sure to speak to me in very clear and easily understandable Mandarin, which was a great way for me to practice.

I had a good experience at the the hostel. Everyone was really nice and respectful, and also quite educational. I did learn a good bit about Taiwan and Hualien through both the locals and the other people working and manning the Hostel. the hostel is truly a family run company. And that is something that anyone visiting for a longer period of time will notice. There is also a lot to do. Both Una and Jin were super helpful and showed me a lot of cool places and activities. So thank you Una and the gang! I have truly had a great time, and I hope to come to visit again in the future <3.

Volunteering at the hostel was wonderful! Una is a kind host who introduces you to other locals and foreigners and invites you to fun activities in the area! The housekeeping is a bit tedious, but it really shows that Una has pride in taking care of her beautiful hostel. Una even had her birthday during my stay, and she threw a birthday party that was like a gathering for foreigners and Taiwanese to meet up and make friends! I worked with two other volunteers during my time at the hostel, a Taiwanese and an American, which was a lot of fun!

I cannot be more happy and satisfied working with WorldInn. Everything was way better than expected, the city, the activities, the entire experience. Una, Aga and Nicole just make you feel as part of their family. They make you feel comfortable and interested in the city and its surroundings, they are amazing hosts and totally understand the travelers needs. They ensure that you have all the options to have an amazing time exploring and eating. Mostly eating. I enjoyed my experience af, I love Hualien and the WorldInn family! Had a great time at the WorldInn Hostel in Hualien. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the work was enjoyable and straightforward. Everything was exactly as described beforehand, with clear information provided about what to expect, making the experience smooth and stress-free. The atmosphere was cool, relaxed, and very pleasant. Check out if there are any events in Hualien at the time of your stay. The Hualien Summer Festival in June was a particular highlight; it was great fun attending with the other volunteers.

I had a ton of fun exploring the city, hanging out with the other volunteers and guests, and learning more about Taiwanese history and culture.
