I had the best time in the guest house!! The 2 weeks I've been there were very relaxing and helped me learn more about social media. Andrés is such a warm-hearted person and the whole team made me feel welcomed since the beginning! I also loved to go on walks with their dog the guest house and I enjoyed every meal we had together as a family :) In general I can really recommend this volunteering for everyone. Thank you for having me !

This was an amazing experience for me! I absolutely loved my time at the guest house and would recommend it in a heartbeat. I had a very comfortable stay, fed well, and the work wasn't overly difficult or demanding.. Andrés is great at working with each individual to give them the tasks that they're most comfortable with. He's very flexible with work hours and days off and works well with the volunteers.

It is a quiet place in a very local town which was great to experience. The work itself was a bit unclear and not communicated well in the beginning which made it hard. However, it did improve after asking for a clearer schedule. In the social media role you get the chance to be creative and come up with content ideas. I also did other tasks such as feeding the pets, helping with reception, cleaning the kitchen, and cooking dinner.

The guest house is located in a very small village so there's no much to do around, so is nice to save money. It's nice if you have another job, so you can do both in your days. To go to another places, you must take a boat or a bus, which is not far but you just have to wait for the time (they are not so punctual). Was nice for me because I had time for myself and Andres allowed me to teach yoga for the guests, as parte of one of my tasks.

Mi experiencia fue buena ya que el lugar es un espacio amplio, tranquilo y tuve la oportunidad de visitar otros lugares alrededor. El resto del staff es amigable y agradable. Aprendí cosas nuevas en cuanto a lo ecológico y sustentable se refiere, lo cual me agrado bastante. En general recomiendo este lugar si te gusta estar en tranquilidad y conectar con la naturaleza.

La casa es un lugar super lindo y de ambiente familiar... Te sientes cómo en casa... El anfitrión Andrés y la casa la dueña de casa son realmente amorosos ... También hay dos michis que hacen muy amena la estancia... El contacto con la comunidad local de San Lucas Tolimán es muy interesante y los trabajos en la casa tienen presente a la comunidad... Muy cerca del Lago Atitlán y sus volcanes... Hermoso lugar!

Mi segundo periodo de voluntaria en la casa fue realmente gratificante tanto como el primero. Decidí extender mi tiempo ya que fue un lugar al que lo sentí como mi hogar y mi familia. Me voy con miles de recuerdos y momentos compartidos! Muchas experiencias enriquecedoras y amigos para toda la vida!

La casa se convierte en tu segundo hogar, Andrés y el equipo de la casa son parte de tu familia y te tratan con mucho amor. la casa y los gatos son la vitalidad de la casa. Respecto a las instalaciones, la casa es hermosa, amplia, con un jardín muy cómodo y no se siente estar en un lugar de hospedaje como tal,sino en un hogar como decía antes. El pueblo es muy bonito, tranquilo, se puede vivir realmente la experiencia de la cultura del lugar, su mercado, su costa del lago es muy limpia y no abunda el turismo. Las tareas son llevaderas y lo más motivador es que puedes aportar lo que sepas!
