Often, we only realize how special an experience was once it's over. During my stay at the hostel, I felt lucky every day. The hostel feels like a big family, where everyone welcomes you warmly and makes you feel at home from the start. Besides its perfect location in the hostel, the hostel offers many activities and opportunities to meet people. A special thank you to the staff, especially the manager, who is not only excellent at his job but also a wonderful person. Thanks for making a dream come true by letting me be part of the team. I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel. The location is perfect, only 2 minutes from the hostel beach away and walkable to many things. You get free entry to many clubs, which even enriches this experience! I felt very warm welcomed and accepted very quickly by the employees. If you need specific changes in the schedule, there were always making it possible. I enjoyed every day here and will definitely come back!

Marie was an incredible volunteer, we would definitely recommend her. She helped us a lot!! both in bar duties at night and leading activities for our guests in the morning.
Very smiling and kind, making it a nice experience for everyone.

El hostel es un lugar increíble! Donde tanto voluntarios como el personal que labora aquí son un gran equipo juntos, hay un ambiente de trabajo en equipo y compañerismo que en casos se ha tornado en amistad debido a la apertura, los horarios se respetan al colaborar con el hostal y las facilidades que ofrecen son óptimas para tener una grandiosa experiencia, me quedo con una gran aventura vivida y mucha diversión, el personal es amable y acogedor, me divertí mientras trabajaba y conocía personas nuevas

My experience at the hostel was incredible. I connected with many people from different parts of the world, and the most fun part was all the parties. This hostel has a party every day. If you are a foreigner looking for a party and to meet people, this place is definitely for you.

Amazing hostel, location is perfect ( 2 minutes to the beach and 1 minute to the subway). Stayed here during carnival and had the best time of my life. Staff is so welcoming and friendly. Tasks are easy, you have to help around, more like a waitress. There are morning and evening shifts. You can always negotiate your schedule, to get days off when you need if possible. Definitely recommend this hostel and hope to come back soon:)

My time in the hostel was just amazing and I am extremely grateful that I got a chance to volunteer there. I got to meet great people and had lots of fun during carnival. For just few hours of work, that is not too hard you get a lot of benefits and it really makes your stay unforgettable. All the volunteers and stuff are truly wonderful people that I will miss. Hours and tasks could be negotiated and changed and I really felt like part of the big family! Will come back one day, thank you for everything!

I met some amazing volunteers in my week there. It was a good multicultural experience witht the other volunteers and guests. Otherwise, the dorm for the volunteers needs revision. I did not feel very welcomed and I was constantly being watched with suspicion for some reason by two permanent staff members. I wasnt there long enough to review more of the experience.

Perfect location and super good vibes if you like partying and don't mind chaos. The tasks were simple, although I felt useless at times because I didn't know what to do. Communication could be better. The night shift felt more like an actual job than a volunteer. I preferred morning shifts. I was disappointed with the living situation. Unfortunately I left before the end of the volunteering because I find a job opportunity that I couldn't miss, but the time I spent there was amazing.

I was so excited to arrive in the hostel and start my month volunteering there. The work shifts were really fun and simple (although I felt useless at times because I can't speak Portuguese or Spanish fluently). Although I was VERY disappointed with the living situation. I expressed my concern about the mold in volunteer room and how the volunteers were very sick (probably due to the mold) and they chose to cover the mold in the mattress instead of moving us and thoroughly cleaning right away. I decided to sacrifice my time in Rio during carnival to stay healthy although I still got very sick.
