I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Expectations are clear and there is a good amount of time to explore the area. The hostel itself is well equipped with everything you need. Laurie was friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is right near downtown, near the bus stop and close to a supermarket. Really recommend this experience

Would really recommend! Laurie is the sweetest person ever, she has genuinely been a joy to work for. The work is simple and you can do them on your own schedule. The hostel gets such a range of guests so it's really exciting chatting to everyone and hearing their story! The hostel really has such a comfortable and homely vibe.

This was my second experience at the hostel, and it went as brightly as the first one. Laurie is a very welcoming person, and very clear with the tasks. The tasks were fast and easy to do, and the guests are always very interesting people. Could not recommend more this experience. This was my first ever Worldpackers experience, and it was the best one I could have ever asked for.

Laurie is a wonderful host and her hostel is so cute. She was easy to work with and made sure that I had plenty of time to see the sights of Vernon. I would definitely recommend the hostel and Laurie as a host.

Kathy was awesome, guests loved interacting with her.
She kept the place clean and the guests happy which made my life much easier. She's super organized and I would definitely recommend her.

Laurie was amazing! She was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. She was very clear with the tasks and always made sure I was comfortable and taking my time off. This was my first experience with a volunteering app, and I could not have asked for a better one. The tasks were easy to do, and you generally have a great time talking to the guests too! The room was very comfortable and the hostel istself is extremely welcoming, relaxing and homey. I can confidently tell anyone who is considering volunteering here that they will not regret it.

I have loved everything about this experience. I've found someone who was willing to listen and help me through what was my first volunteering experience. I felt safe, welcomed and my needs were seen. There was no pressure or prior expectations. The schedule was flexible and I was able to do chores at my pace. There was communication, respect and mutual trust. A great place, cozy just like the name suggests 🌸 If you had a question/issue Laurie would be right there to guide you and support you with her big bright smile! Couldn't have asked for any better.

I volunteered here before the accomo was open. I was the solo volunteer, but it meant I got to spend heaps of time with my thoughts, and exploring! I was able to get to know the area to its full potential, as well as myself! Laurie was always super helpful, and reasonable with the tasks I was asked to complete. Overall was a rewarding experience, and I would recommend this area to nature lovers and go-getters!
