I had a great time in the hostel. It's such a nice place to stay and volunteering. The work shifts were always respected and the tasks weren't difficult at all. I met wonderful people and made new friends <3. Thank u Nikki and Patrick for everything

The the hostel was a dream come true. Nikki and Patrick are wonderful. They care about each of the volunteers and make you feel comfortable and respected. The hostel itself is a great size that never feels overwhelming when working. The space is clean, cozy, and cute! They have a dog named Dougal who is the most dog a dog can be, he follows you around wanting to play fetch with the smallest stick he can find. The town is small but Nikki and Patrick offer rides to Inverness at least once a week which is very helpful! I loved this hostel and I hope you do too

In the beginning I was not very sure about stay here for 2 months, but in the lasts days I don't wanted to leave. The duties are a bit work out but with the time you get used to do it. Nikki and Patrick are kind and respectful. And the landscapes and hikking are amazing! I really would love to came back

Los niños son un encanto, es imposible que no te contagien su energia y Dugall es el perro perfecto! Todo superó mis expectativas, pequeña pero acogedora hostal, conectada con la naturaleza, aprendí nuevas cosas y me conecte con la cultura local! Es la experiencia de ensueño!

We had an amazing time at the hostel! The location is so beautiful and we had plenty of time to explore the local area including the hostel and local hikes. We also learned a lot about Scottish whisky and got to know people from all over the world who were guests at the hostel. Our hosts and the other volunteers were awesome and we're so glad we had this experience! Highly recommend!

Amazing! Nikki and Patrick are fantastic hosts, the hostel is charming and homey, the area around the hostel is great for exploring and hiking, and Dougal the hostel dog is a very good boy. All hours and shifts were exactly as stated and discussed and Nikki and Patrick are very happy to help with training and are flexible too. The hostel has a bar so you'll learn a lot about Scottish whiskey and beers. The town is very small but charming and the locals were totally welcoming. We were sad to leave and if we're ever in Scotland again will absolutely be visiting Drum to check in on everyone.

We had the best first volunteer experience at the hostel, as I told them, our expectations are pretty high for the next ones 🤣 The staff room is very comfortable, the kitchen equipped with everything needed and the schedule was available several days in advance. We were in love with Drumn, many incredible trails to do and the possibility to visit the hostel whenever you want without many tourists. We highly recommend it! Go without fear if you want to feel special, useful and meet very good people. We will miss you a lot! Thanks for the experience Nikki, Patrick, Joni and Finn.

My time there was amaziiiiing ! Nikki and Patrick, the kids and Dougal the dog are very nice and lovely people! I felt very welcome, also the place is great. The work was not difficult if you are comitted to. The Nature around is just wonderfull and we can da lot of beautifull walk. I truely recommand it 🤗

Nikki and Patrick are amazing hosts. They always take care of you, explain you every detail about the job. They're really patient. Because of personal things I had to leave early, but it's a really good place. If you're always looking for party this is not the place for you. The tasks are easy. I just experienced some troubles because of the scottish accent of the people :'D, but besides that everything, it's really fair. They are a lovely family and I would like to go back again when my problems get solved. Thank you for everything :)!
