I had a great time volunteering at Athen's Hawks Urban! I recommend asking which hostel you will be placed at beforehand. Theo and the staff were friendly and positively impacted my stay! The agreed upon tasks and volunteering hours were met accordingly leaving much free time to explore Athens and nearby islands. I highly recommend this experience to other travelers!

I had a great time at Athens Hawks Urban!! Theo and all the staff were helpful and friendly. When I arrived I thought I'd stay at Athens Hawks Central but I ended up going to the other one, which was brand new. All the installations are perfect and clean which was awesome to stay the month. The only thing I would recommend is to clarify before going which hostel is yours. Apart from it, the hours were always respected and flexible to switch shifts with the other girls :)) I had plenty of time to explore Athens and some greek islands. Definitely recommend this experience ❤️

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I had a really good time. I was in Athens hawks hostel & the work was really easy and all the staff were very nice. I also had time to see the islands on my days off, so great! In the beginning it was a bit uncomfortable to walk to the hostel cause the street was sus, but you figure out quickly how to deal with it and where to go. The metro is just around the corner but everywhere is walkable anyway, unless you're going to the beach which is 45min on bus. I would definitely recommend this place if you love Greece.

Volunteering here was a very good first experience for me, tasks are very easy, the staff at urban is very nice, and the other volunteers made my stay perfect ❤️

I had a great time at athens hawks :) all of the staff, in the reception, at the bar, at the breakfast, the kitchen and of course dimitris and theo were all so friendly and easy to talk to. i really liked coming back to the hostel everyday because everyone was so welcoming, and for this reason i'd really recommend the experience and i'd love to come back :) the shifts were exactly as agreed, and the hostel itself is really big and impressive. for just 20 hours a week it's a really great deal. athens is also so beautiful, i was really sad to leave

I volunteered here at Athens Hawks for a month and truly did love the experience. There was a fellow volunteer that started around the same time I did and for sure she and I will be friends for a long time. We shared very similar mindsets in terms of how we wanted to spend our time and outlooks on life. The staff are all very friendly, if not some being more intimidating than others. However, one thing to note is that only girls are selected for the role? Take that as you will but I did have a lovely time during my stay, especially considering it was my first time solo travelling.

I had the best time at Athens Hawks and volunteering there while getting to know fellow travelers and the staff was so much fun!! It was my first volunteering experience whoch is why I will always remember the time there and the amazing people I met. The work was easy and the bar shift was my favorite since there was enough time to talk to guests and coworkers! The view from the rooftop bar was incredible and it doesn't take long to get to the City centre. Though I did feel a bit unsafe in the street in front of the hostel but going out with other people made up for that.

This was my first volunteering experience on Worldpackers and I loved it ! The whole team was super nice, the hostel it's walkable distance from a lot of things and I met the most wonderful people there. You get a lot of free time to do your own thing and visit Athens. You will meet a LOT of other travellers from around the world if you spend a bit of time in the common areas ;)
