Michael is a good person. He picked us up when we arrived and was also flexible with schedules and tasks when we needed him. If you're volunteering alone, you might need to cook and make breakfast every day with no days off. Regardingthe farm, it's a beautiful village with lots of greenery, mountains, and beaches, but there aren't many supermarkets, and you need to go to town, which is a bit challenging since there are almost no buses (maybe 4 a day). I highly recommend going in the summer. I'm very grateful for the whole experience volunteering with Michael and meeting Maria.

This was my first volunteer experience, and now that it's over, I can honestly say I really loved it. In the beginning, there were some challenges, Michael is going through a difficult personal period, and as someone who isn't very comfortable expressing emotions, it took me a bit of time to adapt. I'd definitely recommend talking both to Michael and to previous volunteers before coming. Michael is a truly wonderful person with a kind soul, his dogs are unbelievably sweet, andthe farm is a beautiful, peaceful place, perfect if you need some time away from noise and the city.

Staying with the farmfor two and a half weeks was truly unforgettable. He's one of the kindest, most loving people we've ever met, and he made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The work was simple and fair, and he gave us so much time to explore the beautiful island. We're so grateful for the friendships, memories, and love we found atthe farm.

I had an amazing time atthe farm! Staying with Michael and the volunteers was a great experience. The workload was not overbearing at all. We spent a few hours a morning walking the dogs, feeding the farm animals, and tending to the garden/ helping out around the house. We also had to help prepare breakfast and dinner. Other than that, you have free time to go to the beach, explore the island, etc.. I love the island and highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn more about Greek culture while having a relaxed time on the island! Please reach out with any questions.

I stayed at the farmfor two weeks, and it was a truly peaceful and enjoyable experience. Michael was always kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. The daily routine was like; in the morning, I walked the dogs, picked up fresh bread from the bakery, and prepared breakfast. After breakfast, there were usually some tasks like gardening or sweeping. The rest of the day was free to explore the beautiful surroundings. In the evening, I helped with preparing dinner. I am gratefull for the experience and would live to come back

This experience was truly amazing! Michael is a wonderful person, super kind, and loves his dogs, Lakshmi, Agapimou and Bibely, they are very sweet and going on walks with them was really enjoyable! I already miss them. The house is very pretty and has a beautiful garden. The tasks were mostly related to the house and garden, preparing dinner and breakfast and while doing this you can meet lovely people in town. Michael also took us on the weekends to beautiful places around the island. Very grateful and I definitely recommend this volunteering experience! Would love to come back! 💖

Michael need assistance with many things around his property and business but he is a lovely person to be around and he makes your responsibilities clear. Tasks varied. The role did seems to be more like caretaking. He is very flexible and easy to communicate your needs with. The accommodation was the best i've had and the meals were amazing. I really do recommend this experience if you are looking for a homey & “family oriented” stay with a very local & cultural experience. the farmis small but lovely and Michael will take you and the dogs together in adventures. My experience was great <3

We had a great experience atthe farm. The perfect opportunity to unwind and relax on a beautiful greek island. The daily routine consisted of a few hours of work in the morning (walking the dogs, feeding the chickens, gardening, making breakfast, etc) followed by a break in the afternoon, perfect to visit nearby towns or relax on the beach, followed by making dinner and walking the dogs once again in the evening. The host Micheal and his three dogs are a joy to be around and most of the tasks revolve around helping them in their daily routine.

I had a truly nice experience the task were simple like go with the dogs for a walk, gardening and cooking, I was there low season for me was the best because I had the local experience and the beach was empty and calm. The location is really close to the beach and the bus stop is 10mn walking so you can travel a bit for the island. the farmis a really calm and kind person!! you can see how he is deeply committed to the well-being of his 3 dogs! he really loves them! I highly recommend this volunteer is you loves animals and is the perfect way to connect with the nature!:)
