I had an incredible two weeks volunteering in Laos, teaching English and immersing myself in the local community. The place holds a unique charm. I had the privilege of learning to cook traditional Laotian dishes and, more importantly, connecting with amazing people. What made this experience special was the genuine enthusiasm of the children to learn during the classes. Their eagerness and appreciation made teaching truly rewarding. During our free time, there were numerous activities to engage in. I recommend this program to anyone seeking a meaningful and diverse volunteer opportunity.

My time at SaeLao was wonderful! There was a lot of support from other volunteers in the team, and a generally collaborative and fun environment. The responsibilities were straightforward and engaging with the children was always so fun. I appreciate also the flexibility to design our days while accomplishing our tasks

You will LOVE your volunteering experience at Sae Lao, it's a home away from home thanks to its precious community, amazing team of volunteers who made my stay a great one ! Teaching kids has made me a better person, and I hope I have been able to contribute to their learning too ❤️ My heart is full of precious memories ~ Khobchai lai lai Sae Lao !

Teaching, living in community with the other volunteers and Laos team, exploring Laos and taking care of the center make this experience wonderful. Foods were very good, Laos team, long period volunteers and the staff have been always available to support for any needs. Really recommend.

The organization has been the best experience of my travels. I have met the most amazing people from all over the world and the nicest the organization team ever. Teaching the kids is so fun and enriching. Morning activities are also fun and rewarding Great location Amazing food Just the perfect environment for someone willing to take a break from their busy backpacking schedule. You feel at home within a day. A really special place I would recommend to anyone. Massive thank you to Peter and the team!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this project. The mission is strong, the staff and volunteers are committed, and the place truly feels like a family. There is a plethora of free time to relax in nature and with new friends. Teaching the students has been an absolute highlight. Staff is always supportive and willing to help in any way possible to make a better experience for everyone involved. Volunteers can contribute to the project in a multitude of ways and I really enjoyed this flexibility. If you're looking for a way to give back and contribute to an awesome project, definitely come!

It was a really enriching experience. the organization is an incredible love service project for a better future for children, dedicated volunteers for their teaching and the atmosphere is wonderful, their entire team is very friendly, I felt at home. The sector is very close to lagoons and to do trekking. And if you need something urgent, the team is very attentive. On the other hand, children are wonderful, they will give you triple the love that you will give them, they go to school happy to learn from you, It will be a very nutritious experience for your life, and even more for the children. Peter is the sweetest person ever, which does not come as a surprise, because what he does at the organization is genuinely incredible! He really rdoes care about the project and helping the local kids, which makes your work there so much more impactful. The children you get to work with are the cheekiest, but sweetest kids you'll ever meet. Teaching them is a privilege because they really want to learn. You spend so much of your time with the other volunteers, that naturally a family develops! I've shared some of my favourite moments of travel with them. Wouldn't change any of it for the world!!

The organization is such an amazing Project were you really inmerse yourself in the culture and with the organization people. The “ the organization guys” are such nice people and also all of the volunteers let you feel like you are in a big family❤️ not forgetting about the amazing kids in class, there are the cutest thing ever! Even the teenagers are such cool people and you can have so much fun with them while you learn them some English! It was my first volunteership and im glad it was this one!
