It was my first volunteer experience at the Wild the hostel. It took a few days to understand the processes and get into the work. After a few days, you start to find your way around better, and you can ask anyone for help – and you'll always get it! The experiences I had there were unique and wonderful. Whether it was motivating guests, having fun with the other volunteers, or forming deep connections, every moment was special. The many parties can be overwhelming, so it's important to take time to rest as well. Overall, it was an amazing time, and I would definitely come back to work!

Hello Wild and Urban the hostel! As you may know, it was my first time volunteering and i couldn't have chosen a better place. At first I can say I learnt a lot of new things, working here gave me opportunity to be a better adult haha. Other than that, I met a lot of nice people from all over the world, and I for sure can say I have friends around continents now. As for the city, Bratislava is really different from the cities I've visited before, it has a nice old town, but it was the hostel that really made my experience the coolest. I hope one day I can come back! Thank you for everything!

Volunteering at Wild the hostel through Worldpackers was my first experience, and it took time to adjust. Every day was packed—not just with work but also social activities. Tasks/the way hostel works weren't always detailed so asking questions was key. I asked a lot and managers were always helpful. This experience is great for those ready to step out of their comfort zone since the social aspect is intense. Saw a couple of volunteers leave early as they couldn't adapt sadly. If you're open and adaptable, it's amazing! Huge thanks to managers Jamie and Mads for your constant support <3

Primer voluntariado y ha sido una gran experiencia. Ha sido intenso (en el buen sentido) porque compartes mucho tiempo con el resto de voluntarios. He de decir que pasas bastante rato en el propio hostal porque entre actividades diarias, reuniones y el tiempo de trabajo se te pasa el día ahí. Pero lejos de ser algo negativo si lo que buscas son conexiones verdaderas y cercanía con las personas de tu alrededor este es el lugar indicado. Es un hostel party, muchas actividades están relacionadas con la fiesta pero eso lo hace único y más divertido.

Este fue mi primer voluntariado y fue una experiencia muy gratificante a nivel personal. Pude mejorar mi inglés gracias a que estás constantemente en contacto con personas de otros lugares. El ambiente en general es muy bueno porque se crea un sentimiento de familia entre los voluntarios ya que pasas muchísimo tiempo con ellos, y tan solo por eso repetiría esta experiencia sin dudarlo. Si te gusta la fiesta y conocer gente este es tu hostel, lo que sí que hay que tener en cuenta es que el trabajo a veces es un poco exigente, sin pasarse nunca del horario acordado, pero sin duda lo recomendaría

We stayed in Urban for 3 weeks in November and we loved the whole experience. The fellow volunteers were amazing and we felt so welcomed, they explain everything to you. The tasks are exactly the same as described in the profile, for us it was more fun than work but sometimes it could be a bit exhausting because of multiple hangovers. The hostel is all about party and going out, so be aware of that. But if you love to party and meet a lot of amazing people this is the right place for you.

The experience was really nice, everyday you will meet new people and the others volunteers are soo wonderful fuck*ng people, I would like to come back again definitely 🫶🥰

I had a super fun time at Wild! I connected really well with the other volunteers. The managers made the experience very collaborative and gave many opportunities for volunteers to bond. The shifts are long and intense but the experience made working worthwhile.
