It was an amazing experience! I had the opportunity to live in close contact with nature but with all the necessary comforts for a month and I loved it. Lydia and all the staff made me feel easily at home and welcome. Finally, the proximity to the Caribbean Sea is priceless. I would recommend this experience to anyone :)

I loved my stay at the hostel! Lydia, Bryton and the whole staff made me feel welcome since day one. You get to literally live in the jungle and be in contact with nature 24/7. The job is easy and as described and it gives you plenty of time to enjoy pura vida. Absolutely loved it!

Una experiencia increíble que sin duda repetiríamos. El equipo nos cuidó y trató con tanto cariño que nos sentimos como en casa en todo momento. Siempre flexibles y siempre con una sonrisa, hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. Con pena de que se haya acabado, pero muy agradecidas por todo.

Es una de mis primeras experiencias como voluntario y me siento muy cómodo con todo el equipo de trabajo. Lydia es una persona amable y abierta. Me parece una buena opción de voluntariado para gente con o sin experiencia porque vienen clientes tanto internacionales como locales. También hay conciencia ecológica y se organizan eventos. En mi próximo viaje a Puerto Viejo definitivamente volvere a postularme para trabajar aquí.

It was our first experience with Worldpackers with my friend. We absolutely don't regret it. The hostel and its location are very good, really connected with nature. Lydia and Bryton are so kind but also the rest of the staff. We spent wonderful moments with them. The work is really easy and there are a lot of things to do in and around Puerto Viejo. We really recommend this place!

It was a really nice experience in the hostel, Lydia and Bryton are very kind people who care about you from the beginning until the last second. I was assigned to the cleaning group , where I had the pleasure of working with Kimari and Diego, beautiful people, always smiling, available, who help you a lot, it was a real pleasure to share time with them. It was also nice time spent with Edwin, the gardener, another very good person in the hostel, always sunny I highly recommend the experience in this hostel, plus Puerto Viejo is wonderful .

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience and I am so grateful that it was. Lydia is an awesome host who is kind, welcoming, and always there to help out with anything. The work is very laid back and you have 4 days off, leaving you with plenty of opportunity to explore the area. There are so many things to do so you'll never be bored. I had so much fun with the other volunteers and met some awesome people around the area. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!

I loved my stay at the hostel, such a good experience. The place is so pretty, very tropical, close to the beach and not that far from the city (you have a bike). You work 7h 3days/week so you have 4 days off which is perfect to discover this part of the country, and the work is really chill. Lydia (the host) is so kind and I felt like a real part of the team. I met so much people and Puerto Viejo is defently one of my favorite city in CR.
