My experience here was amazing! Lydia and Bryton, the owners, are the best. Lydia makes sure you feel comfortable from day one and is always very kind and helpful. I worked at the reception, and everything is explained very clearly and the tasks are easy. The hostel is right in front of the best beach in Puerto Viejo and surrounded by nature, I even saw sloths in the garden! The town center is also very close and easy to reach using the bicycles provided to volunteers. The other volunteers were amazing, and the movie nights were the best. Thank you for everything!

Me encantó la experiencia, el trabajo se hace super ameno, la cantidad de días libres da para hacer muchísimo, el equipo es brutal, Lydia y Bryton son muy buenos hosts te hacen sentirte muy cómodo, y Kim y Diego son los mejores compañeros de trabajo. Me lo pasé muy bien en los eventos que hacen, mención especial al trivia night Lo repetiría 100%

No podria parar de recomendar este sitio, me ha gustado mucho la experiencia. Lydia, Bryton y el equipo nos han hecho sentirnos como en casa. El ambiente es muy bueno y es un sitio super bonito. El trabajo es muy tranquilo y te da mucho tiempo libre para hacer mil cosas. Me llevo muy buen recuerdo <3

Este fue mi segundo voluntariado y Lydia me hizo sentir como en casa. Siempre con mucha comunicación asertiva, amable, responsable, y atenta con los voluntarios. Siempre cumplen las horas de turno. Vivir frente al mar fue mágico. El hostal es muy lindo, bien cuidado, y el staff es super bueno con uno, guiándolo en todo lo necesario. El trabajo es muy fácil y te da mucho tiempo libre para invertir en realizar lo que les guste. Wifi funciona súper bien. Cocina limpia.

I had such a great time at the hostel! Everyone was so sweet and the working hours were very relaxed and gave me a lot of free time to explore Puerto Viejo. I loved everything about my stay!!

Me voy del hostel con el corazón contento! Esta fue mi primer experiencia de voluntariado, y la verdad no pudo ser mejor! Quiero agradecer a todo el equipo por recibirnos y hacernos sentir como en casa, son una gran familia! Gracias Lydia y Bryton por su calidez, nos sentimos muy mimadas y super comodas. En mi experiencia particular en limpieza, agradecer a Kimari y Diego por hacerme sentir una más, fue muy divertido trabajar con ustedes. Gracias por la paciencia y el amor con el que tratan a los voluntarios. El lugar es muy lindo y cómodo. Conexión con la naturaleza 100%🫶🌺❤️‍🩹

Mi primer voluntariado y no podría estar más agradecida. Lydia y Bryton son súper atentos y nos hicieron sentir cómodas desde el primer día, hicieron de la experiencia una muy enriquecedora. El hostel es hermoso, lleno de naturaleza y animales, y está justo frente a una de las mejores playas de Puerto Viejo. Quiero destacar también la buena energía de todo el equipo: Kima y Diego en la limpieza y todo el staff del bar el hostel. Gracias por hacer de este lugar un recuerdo inolvidable 🥰 Volveremos pronto🙌🏼

It was an amazing experience! I had the opportunity to live in close contact with nature but with all the necessary comforts for a month and I loved it. Lydia and all the staff made me feel easily at home and welcome. Finally, the proximity to the Caribbean Sea is priceless. I would recommend this experience to anyone :)

I loved my stay at the hostel! Lydia, Bryton and the whole staff made me feel welcome since day one. You get to literally live in the jungle and be in contact with nature 24/7. The job is easy and as described and it gives you plenty of time to enjoy pura vida. Absolutely loved it!
