An amazing experience, immersion into the English countryside in a beautiful place. The hosts were adorable, providing us a cozy space to sleep in a friendly community during 3 weeks. What I loved the most was the general involvement of the team in the eveyday tasks, creating a safe environment where we could rely on everyone. The work could have been hard some days but the team spirit and the fun breaks helped enjoying everydays! Thank you to all the trustees, the interns and the volunteers coming from all around the world! See you next 😉

I had a really nice time at the host & the host, all the volunteers, interns, and trustees are lovely people & the vibes at the camp are so welcoming and fun. There's flexibility with tasks so you can use special skills if you have any. The food is always fantastic and healthy and everyone gets a chance to work in the kitchen if they want to, which I loved.

The host and the host is such a unique, positive and fun environment to be involved in, It was the perfect place for me to push myself out of my comfort zone. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, everyone was so inviting and lovely!

The host & the host wowow! What an incredible experience, and an incredible space. I am so grateful for this team of lovely individuals. I could tell right from the start they are super thoughtful and wanting to support their volunteers in any way possible. They were thorough in there communication and very organized with tasks. I was able to be there during the initial setting up stages so alot of physical labor and was pretty exhausted but it was rewarding. The other volunteers, interns, and trustees were so amazing to get to know. So so many laughs. + there is an amazing river on site to swim in!

I loved this experience with all my heart, I was able to meet people from different parts of the world and with them I created bonds of friendship. At first the work was very physical but as the days passed I got used to it and I felt at home.

I loved my experience at the host and the host! I was only there for the set up so did not experience any of the events. The people were lovely and it was a great opportunity to meet new people. I will mention that if you aren't into camping and manual labour then I would give this one a miss. For those who like camping, being outdoors and making friends I'd recommend!

I am extremely grateful to have been able to be a part of this volunteer program. the host and the host is an incredible educational experience on how to live a sustainable life — in a beautiful place, surrounded by lovely people. Being part of the last days of the program enabled me to participate on the events, but also the ramp down. In the end of the whole process, it was incredible to see how much can be done making very little impact in the environment — that actually impacted me a lot, so did the people with their love and kindness.

If you wanna remember how beautiful is life, go to the host & the host. Magical place, magical people. The name says everything: the host, connected with nature and with the earth and as a result with every human being that you meet. the host: from crowd, from useless distractions. I forgot I have a phone for so many days, wonderful feeling. Just thank you - to every person that I met: Dan for accepting me, the crew, the guests and life for this experience. It's completely AMAZING.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I Simply can not imagine a better place to see how to run a wonderful volunteer operation! “Greenandaway” is a five star program ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ run by five Star people and volunteers!
