I enjoyed spending 6 weeks in the Center. Beautiful & peaceful place for a reset. Perfect for deepening my yoga practice (Ashtanga by myself, the yoga for guests is very slow and gentle as the guests are on the older/beginner side.) I got to teach yoga/meditation in english a few times. I love that we are so many volunteers at once, guests & staff are lovely. Really good german classes once a week. I got to do mainly housekeeping, some service & gardening. My only wish is : a better communication between managers/owner & volunteers. For all future WPs don't be afraid to communicate your needs!

Working in the Center was my first workaway experience and I'm very thankful that it was. From the moment I arrived I already felt at home and had the luck to meet wonderful people, volunteers and workers among them. It's a hard working job, but, at the end of the day, it pays off because you get to enjoy the amazing energy of the Center, create special connections with people and get to know a little bit about northern Germany culture. Not only that, but the food is amazing, you'll never be hungry. I'm very grateful to had this kind of opportunity, I'll never forget my time in the Center!

I felt welcomed from the first moment because they were very attentive to me, the staff are very receptive, friendly and Olaf gave me all the necessary support, I felt at home, the bedroom was very comfortable, and the food was perfect, the job is not difficult at all a little tiring at times, but the free time is great, and we can enjoy it a lot. It was a very productive time for me and I will have everyone in my heart. Gratitude for everything the Center❤️🙏

A wonderful place! I enjoyed every single bit of working as a volunteer. The overall involvement of my time in the Center was excellent and I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to live and experience Northern Germany properly. One of the most enjoyable things was not surprisingly the people- TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS. It seemed that no matter what the goal was for the day or how much the language barrier interferred, everyone was willing to help one another and put in work when it was needed. I'll never forget the adventue, and I'm very grateful to the staff who helped us during our stay!

Volunteering at the Center was the perfect combination of work and relaxing in the peaceful forest. During my stay, I did housekeeping, kitchen help and preparing the bonfire. The work schedule was structured and the work hours were respected. When not working, I attended the yoga classes offered to the guests. Another free-time activity was using the available bikes to cycle to nearby towns. A bonus for me was the German class offered on Saturdays, and the teacher was very kind and patient. Vielen Dank to all the Center staff and other volunteers for this special experience :-)

If you are searching for a place to create deep connection with people, but also spend some time alone with yourself in a secluded space, I think the Center is perfect! The stuff is super friendly and the chefs will make sure that you're always stuffed with food! The work is well structured and it changes each week, so it is likely that you will have different tasks. There's the possibility to attend the Center meditation classes and each week you're going to attend a German lecture. If you want to visit the surrounding you are provided with bikes :)

The best experience with volunteering I had so far! The workers are very kind and inclusive, making you feel at home right away. The volunteers I met here were super nice and friendly. The German teacher was also very fun to talk with! Overall it was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it!!!

This was my first worldpackers experience, and I had a magical time. What made this time so special was the amazing friendships I made with my 6 fellow volunteers. The staff at the Center made our stay equally as amazing, by planning parties for us, taking us on a special dinner excursions. The other volunteers and I planned movie nights, game nights, and talked late into the evening. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was awesome (especially breakfast)!! The work is clearly structured. There are 3 shifts: 6am-12:30pm, 8am-2pm, 3pm-9pm. I'm forever grateful for my time here

The highlight of my time at the Center was the other volunteers I met and worked with. It truly is a community that you become part of, in which the people are kind, supportive and encouraging. The growth that I experienced here is something that I will be grateful for for a long time. I worked as a kitchen hand and server, I cooked, baked and practised my german. There is some room for improvement, which I have communicated with the host, which will help to keep all volunteers safe and well there.

I had a great experience in the Center ! The place is really beautiful and the room for the workys is very pretty and comfortable ! Food was also good, a little repetitive sometimes but very tasty. About the tasks, they were a little exhausting sometimes (especially Housekeeping and Gardening). Negative points : sometimes you were alone doing the work, which increased the difficulty and the responsibility of it, and also I had the impression that only girls were doing all the cleaning work :/ (guys can also clean remember! ). Despite that, I had an amazing time with the others workys ! :))
