If you're looking to connect with nature and disconnect from the world, you've come to the right place. the lodge franco gives you the space to have loads of free time to yourself, allowing you to get in touch with your creative side, learn a new instrument or go for a hike and explore the beautiful mount Trebević. As for the facilities it's definitely not fancy and there is no wifi BUT if you want a nature based the lodge to visit, then look no further.

I had a great experience, the lodge is incredible, the people are interesting, every day I saw the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen, I met people from all over the world, and I understood how volunteer work works. For those looking for contact with a simpler lifestyle, it is perfect, I just recommend paying attention that it is an isolated place in the mountains. But the people, Dexter and the cat are wonderful.

I had the most amazing month in the lodge Franko. The work is super easy. And you spend time meeting lovely locals and living with other amazing volunteers. You really get to live a simple lifestyle in the best place possible.

First of all, I want to thank Primoz for the chance to be there. Looking back, it was one of the most unforgettable experiences I've had at the lodge Franko. The place has this energy that nudges you out of your comfort zone and into something new, like stepping into a trail you didn't know you were ready for. And when you get to share that journey with incredible people (as I did), every moment feels even more meaningful and full of possibility.

The lodge Franko was an amazing experience. The living is very back to basic so you need to be up for that. The work is very easy and the surroundings are stunning.

My experience at the lodge Franko was amazing! I spend 16 days at the lodge, and met the best people! The other volunteers were amazing and the host was great! the lodge franko is a great experience if you want to get out in nature and try something different!

The lodge Franko became a home away from home with the best group, cozy movie nights, hikes, lovely locals and many amazing memories. Be prepared for baby wipe showers, getting creative in the kitchen with very limited supplies, a not very long drop toilet and water rations. I walked/hitchhiked down to the city a couple of times for an adventure and much needed supplies (veggies, fruit, lentils, beans). Thanks Primos for a great experience!

I loved my volunteer time at the lodge Franko. We had an amazing team that shared the light load and got on well together. We became like a little family, cooking meals together with the little food provided and sometimes a bit extra that someone went to the city to get. We usually hiked down on a week day with each other making sure at least one or two people stayed at the lodge. It will be necessary to get some extra food for yourself as it is the basics that are provided. Water is refilled once a week so you have to be careful with usage. And showering may not be everyday and is with a bucket.

Had an amazing time at the lodge Franko I wish I could've stayed longer! The other volunteers were amazing and Primoz was a great host. He even drove us to da waterfall hike one day and it was amazing. the lodge has the best views and the most gorgeous sunsets. The work was quite simple serving guests drinks and food on weekends. It's like camping so don't expect running water haha (good luck in Valhalla) but it's all part of the experience. Met so many nice locals as well as travellers from all over. I loved my time here and would love to return!!

The place is wonderful, the views are excellent and the cabin feels like a refuge, the people I met made the experience even better, but definitely the star of the cabin is Max the cat :v
