My experience was okay. I was picked up by Lorenzo's dad who is very nice, but since Lorenzo wasn't there, not much was explained to me about expectations except from other volunteers. Some volunteers had issues with pick up from the train station so I would communicate a lot prior to make sure you're able to get to the vineyard. We were told we needed to buy our own toilet paper which I wasn't expecting. The work itself was fine and I appreciated that they were flexible with working either in the morning or afternoon. My favorite part was meeting other volunteers from around the world.

This is the best volunteer experience l've ever had! The family has such a warm and loving energy; they welcome you as if you're part of their own. The work is fulfilling, and the place itself is absolutely beautiful. The food is simply delicious-honestly, the best I've ever had in my life. Time flies while you're here because it's such a wonderful environment. This was my second time volunteering here, and l'll definitely be coming back many more times. Thank you so much for having me again!

It was a great stay at Lorenzo, sweet family and plenty of nice people from all over the world. The work was fine, at times hard, but Lorenzo tells you that before hand. Please make sure if your sole interest is in the winery and the work within the winery, That you ask Lorenzo about the possibilities regarding what type of work when you are there, so you don't get surprised.

Had a great time at Tenuta San Lorenzo. Practiced Italian (especially with Laura), connected to the Italian way of life in the countryside, learned a lot about a winery, practiced different skills and had a great time with the other volunteers. The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature and the food is amazing. Highly recommended.

During my time here I made so many good memory's with the team and my new family. Lorenzo was my big brother and his mom Laura was my granny and they were the highlight of my traveling so far. Everyday with them was an experience, it was nice that we got to work next to them and not under them. The work is farm work so it gets you in shape, looking fit and tan. With the boost of confidence it benefited the weekend trips to Genoa that Lorenzo would take us on. Best decision of my life was coming here and taking the leap of faith to join a new family that has expanded my mind so much

I learned so much during my stay at Lorenzo and his family's. You get free italian lessons with Laura, learn about Italian food with Peter and there couldn't be better boss than Lorenzo. The nature with its the winery yards is breathtaking. The work is physical but really rewarding, you work outside, connect with nature and work as a team. The fact that I got to share this experience with so many other volunteers made this stay beyond special and impactful for me. The farm really felt like a second home. I hope to come back one day. Grazie mille, Lorenzo, Laura and Peter!!❤️❤️

It's hard for me to put into words how much I liked this experience, from the people I met to the activities we did every day. Tenuta San Lorenzo, has a very very special place in my heart. I had the best time ever. Always felt like home, had the most delicious food ever and made long lasting friendships. Lorenzo, Laura and Peter can't thank you enough for everything, you were the best hosts out there!! ✨ Can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience. Lorenzo, Laura and Peter were very welcoming and made me feel at home. I can't thank them enough for having me. The work was great, I was lucky enough to there during the harvest, which was hard work but so worth it. I had the opportunity to meet some amazing people. I also can't thank them enough for all the amazing food. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you again.

Lorenzo and his family are amazing people and it always felt natural to call this place "home." Work starts very early (to avoid the heat of the sun,) but that means that you also end early, and you have the entire rest of the day to yourself to relax or go out. During harvest work is much more intense but still doable never overwhelming. If you decide to volunteer here you will get to know amazing people from all around the world, learn so much about the winery process, enjoy the most amazing homemade meals, and leave with some lifelong friends.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Lorenzo's. I felt so cared for and comfortable in the home. The food was amazing and every meal time was so lovely sitting with everyone at the table. The work can be hard but very rewarding and therapeutic and nothing you can't handle. Also, it's very interesting to learn about the entire process of the winery making. I learnt so much, met the most incredible people and felt so at home. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life, I am very grateful for my time and would recommend it to anyone.
