This is a great place for retreat and to hit a reset button. There are many opportunities to explore the teachings both inside the Gompa and just around the campgrounds. It's easy to get pulled into some philosophical/spiritual conversations, and I liked that a lot. There can be quite a bit work during busy lunch days and can go over but it's all manageable. So thankful to have been immersed in this corner of the Australia for a while and I hope to visit again! 🙏

I had the most amazing time there, the team was warm and welcoming, I met other travelers who became really good friends, and the moments spent with the monks, nuns and Geshela were really wholesome. There was a lot of work as we were not enough volunteers, so I didn't attend as many classes and activities as I expected. But the team is working to improve this aspect and I always felt like my work mattered and was aknowledged. I got to meet a lot of different people and could easily speak and connect with them. Also, the house we had is really nice and the food is amazing !

My experience at the Center was truly unique . I learned so much about myself there. I was also able to join some teachings, parts of retreat and connect with sangha which really made my whole experience special. You will have so much ressources to introduce yourself or learn more about Tibetan Buddhism. I also liked learning about the housekeeping and everything at the cafe.

The experience in the Center was unique. I've got the amazing opportunity of getting to know the monks and nuns who were really generous with their thoughts and knowledge. I found it really challenging, is a sacred place and purifying is not always that easy, sometime you can feel suffering or, as me, feel a little bit sick. Be patient, it is really worth it! I found it a life change experience. I would love to come back. Thanks the Center!

Volunteering and living at the Center was absolutely magical and life-changing in so many ways. I've travelled before, but this experience hit differently and way deeper. I was super lucky to connect with such awesome people and have honest, enriching exchanges. I learned so much about myself through it all! the Center has a special place in my heart and my story now. As for the work, the shifts are indeed 6 hours a day doing whatever's needed. Personally, I love the variety of working in different areas, so I was stoked with that!

Words can not describe how much gratitude I've got for this phenomenonal the Center. the Center is an absolute blessing 🙏 Please do not hesitate to volunteer at this wonderful place, there are multiple job roles available, the volunteer staff co-ordinator is truly an inspiration, approachable and an amazing soul ❤️ The team are truly a remarkable team 👏 offering service or help with anything you need, always someone to turn to for support. This position will have a life long impact for me. I can not be more grateful and thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity 🙏
