This was my first worldpackers experience and it was wonderful. I got to meet so many other travelers from all over the world. I'm not a very spiritual person so I was a bit worried about going to a buddhist the project. But honestly if you don't want to, you don't have to engage with it at all. You can just go to the nearest pub and watch football of evening classes about karma aren't your cup of tea. Everyone is really welcoming, the work isn't hard. Don't think you could find many other cafés this stress-free.

Me postule para preparar habitaciones y limpieza, pero me ubicaron en cafeteria y la acepte por hacer algo nuevo. El equipo de trabajo fue muy bueno y la coordinadora Laurence (no se si se escribe asi) es la mejor, siempre preocupada en que todos estemos comodos en lo que haciamos, sino nos cambiaba al sector que mejor nos sintieramos. En el sector de cafe se trabaja de 10:15hs a 17hs con una hora de descanso, y siempre hay algo para hacer, asi que no se van a aburrir. Las instalaciones impecables. Y alrededor no hay nada, asi que hay que caminar unos 40' hasta el pueblo.

Es un lugar apropiado para tener un primer acercamiento con el budismo. Esta en medio de un bosque y es lindo. La gente tiene buena actitud y el personal buena disposición

I really enjoyed my experience at the Buddhist center. I met people from different countries and practiced my English. the food was very good and the people are welcoming. I highly recommend it! I volunteered at the cafe and really enjoyed it.

It was my first volunteering, and I have no words to describe one of the best experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful, all the people are kind. If you still have doubts about going, I just say to go.

It was my first volunteer experience in Worldpackers and it was amazing. I spent 2 weeks in the Center at the cafe and I really enjoyed it. It's a special opportunity to meet nice and interesting people from all around the world, to practice English, to be exposed to a new way of life and to travel around. (the beach is just a 5 minutes walk from the center and there are a lot of beautiful places to see around in the lake district) The atmosphere in the center is so unique and peaceful and the team there are super nice and respectful. I hope to visit again :)

I really enjoyed my time there. The people and the environment in general are amazing. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this experience to everyone that wants to know more about the Center and buddhism.

It is an incredible place to disconnect and at the same time connect with everything!! I have met wonderful people there, the volunteers and people who live there are very friendly, it has been an incredible time, I have learned a lot and above all about Buddhism and the Center, I fully recommend it!

I had a beautiful experience here!! People are very kind and welcoming, and you get to know many different volunteers, so it's always fun. The building is sorrounded by beautiful nature, with a lot of chances to go for walks, enjoy fresh air or find some time for yourself. If you want, you also have the possibility to join teachings or the Center and discover more about buddhism, which i think is very interesting. The work hours are respected, and even if sometimes it may get a bit tiring, you always have a nice enviroment and amazing people working with you. I will come back!!

The Center is absolut a excellent place to volunteer. The atmosphere is peaceful and everyone is so nice and warm hearted. Tasks are fair and much to learn, not to mention the managers care you a lot. Vegetarian foods are delicious. There are many volunteer activities,5 mind walk to the beach and easy to access the towns in the Lake District. It is really an unforgettable experience and I would like to recommend to everyone.
