We had a great time at Jobys. We spent 2 weeks and I was sick for the first one but he was very kind about it. The work was physical but manageable and the house and area were beautiful. Joby was a great host and he's just a fun guy to live with for 2 weeks so highly recommend this exchange if you're not afraid of getting your hands dirty!!

What a great experience! the home is a very nice and peaceful place. I could enjoy stunning views while doing activities during my days there. A nice contact with nature hearing only the wind and birds. Joby a lovely host, always trying to make you feel comfortable, he cooks delicious food, and you can hear many histories from him. No chance to get bored! There is always something to do and a chance to learn new things. And of course, free time to enjoy the place and surroundings. Thanks Joby for the great time, I was happy to help you!

Joby is very friendly and his land is amazing, the landscape is breathtaking! Our experience was cutting the grass, helping him to build some walls. We had daily tasks as cleaning the pool, feed the chickens and the plants. Remember that is in the middle of the mountains, so life there is very lonely and if you are going by car the road is very tight, so be careful. We had a great time and a lot of laughs together, thank you Joby see you next time!

My partner and I spent 3 weeks here and loved it! Joby is a fun guy with loads of interesting and funny stories so we had a great time. The work was very manageable and we even learnt a few new skills along the way which we will use in the future. Blackjack & Lady (& the chickens) were a massive highlight for us and we will miss them so much!! I would recommend this experience to couples mainly as you will be spending time alone as Joby works during the week :) lovely place! Hope to be back one day. Thank you so much for the opportunity Joby! P.s the views are incredible.

We spent just over 3 weeks with Joby, in the beautiful mountains. Joby is a great guy, with endless stories and amazing cooking. The work was easily manageable and we learnt a few new skills too. BlackJack and Lady are the loveliest cats and will be the best companions to any volunteer who arrives. Overall, the home was a tranquil and idyllic place to be and I hope to be back one day soon.

Thanks for having me! It was my first trip and it couldn't been any better. The area and property is fantastic, the views and the atmosphere is incredible, the tasks are manageable and the meals were always a highlight for me! Can recommend to anyone who can help maintaining land and taking care of other little jobs, just don't be lazy ;)

Joby makes you feel very welcome, he explains the tasks very well. Tasks include strimming, wood chopping, taking care of the animals and help him with building his new cabin. In your free time you can explore the coastal cities or go hiking in the mountains. Joby can drop you off at several places when you leaves for work. You will be spending a lot of time on your own, so be aware of this. If you want to stay at a place in the middle of the mountains and reconnect with nature, this is definitely the place for you!!

Joby it's very nice guy, we stayed in a second house so it was comfortable and private. The road it's very tight, so if you go with your car, think about your bags, because our car couldn't get out there if joby didn't help us. It's a big land, we didn't have experience, so it was a little bit scary to cut the grass in some areas. We feed the chicken's and cleaned the pool, and take care of the joby's house. Some tasks are daily even in our day off. Thank so much joby,hope see you soon!

Joby was really nice from the start, very patient with my difficulty speaking in English. He is also an excellent cook! The view from the place is beautiful and you will spend a lot of time alone, which won't be a problem if you like that. I feel like I'm an expert at lighting fireplaces, I fed the chickens, and the work wasn't difficult. I definitely have a lot to be thankful for! Thank you Joby for having me in your home.
