The hostel was a lovely place. The workers and other volunteers were nice, and the pets were fantastic! The hours are good and the work is very easy. I would definitely recommend this place.

Harry and I had an amazing time at the hostel. Everyone is super nice and Alex is a great host. The work hours were flexible and the work was never too hard. It was a great experience.

Amazing hostel. Nice, kind and fun people working in it. The tasks are easy and clear. The staff, other volounteers, the pets (especially Nala) made the stay very pleasant. It was my first volounteering experience and would def recoment it to other travelers. Cheers!

Mi tiempo en el hostel fue increíble. Alex es una persona increíble y me ayudó muchísimo cuando tenía mi examen de ingreso a la universidad y cuando mis planes de viaje cambiaron. Es una persona muy agradable y gracioso. El trabajo es muy simple y tranquilo pero tenes que asegúrate siempre de mantener las cosas limpias y cuidar bien el albergue. Me sentí como en casa en el hostel y conocí a las personas más increíbles, incluidos los demás voluntarios, los trabajadores y los viajeros de todas partes. Definitivamente lo recomendaría.

The experience in the hostel was amazing! The hostel is a really nice and complete place to stay (well equiped kitchen, free laundry, gym) where you can you can meet people from all over the world and practice your Spanish with all staff (they are really lovely and kind). The work is easy and well organized and the hostel is near to the city center so you can da lot of things in your free time. The owner Alex is the best, really friendly, caring and helpful! Thank so much for everything! Totally recommend this experience!! If you need tips about Fortuna, don't hesitate to reach me out!

REGÁLENSE LA OPORTUNIDAD DE VIVIR UNA EXPERIENCIA AQUÍ ❣️. Fue mi primer voluntariado desde que llegué a Costa Rica y reconozco que ha sido una buena decisión. Gracias Alex y equipo por hacerme sentir en casa y gracias por la oportunidad. Estoy feliz de haber compartido un tiempo con ustedes y de haber disfrutado de las instalaciones que, de verdad, me parecen muy acogedoras y relajantes. Hasta la próxima :)

Mi voluntariado en el hostel no podría haber sido mejor. Ha sido el primero que he hecho y creo que será difícil de superar. Alex es una persona encantadora y la convivencia con él, el resto de trabajadores y los otros voluntarios ha sido increíble. El trabajo es bastante sencillo y está muy bien organizado, dejándote muchísimo tiempo libre. Es posible hacer excursiones dede el hostel (gratis para los voluntarios), cosa que está muy bien. He conocido muchísima gente porque también socializas mucho con los huéspedes. Sin duda es una experiencia que recomendaría a todo el mundo!

Cómodo, agradable, gratificante. Los horarios se cumples y las tareas se cumplen. Alex estupendisimo y agradable, con buena vibra. Gracias a los Gatetes de Juana y Buffet y sobretodo a la querida perrita Nala. Un gustazo estar ahí y muy relajado.
