Amazing hostel couldn't recommend volunteering here enough! The location is perfect in central Wollongong, everyone is so friendly and its a great way to meet new people and relax in exchange for some work. This experience has definitely been a highlight of my travels.

Absolutely loved it here, it was an amazing time.I felt very safe and welcome during my stay here ! Its a very social hostel and it is 10 min walk from the beach. The tasks were very easy to handle and you have so much free time after work. Highly recommend it. I am gonna miss the gong.

It was the best volunteer I've done by far. Kerry and Nathan are lovely people, the vibes of the hostel are chill and the location is great, I highly recommend it, I'd love to go back someday :)

I had the best 4 weeks at the Kiaraleigh the hostel, the work is easy and fair for the beautiful the hostelyou get to stay in . I truly have made friends for life during my stay and I am very very grateful for Kerrie and Nathan for being so amazing

The Gong-Family: 🌺🤍✨ Kerry and Nathan providing a wonderful place to feel comfortable, be creative, surf, sports, party/games nights,..The work is super easy & fair and fun with the right people! Of course the hostel and the beautiful energy of it is created from the volunteers and guests! During my 2-month stay here, I was able to get to know such incredibly great people! I'm forever grateful to the hostel for that! The only small note is that you have to be prepared for it to be very intense,loud,social but that's the hostel life; )! Otherwise I would recommend the hostel to everyone! xx

My experience at the hostelwas full of meeting amazing volunteers and guests. Nathan and Kerrie were pleasant hosts and Nathan even went out of his way to cook for us a few times. I enjoyed my stay.

The hosts were wonderful people, very kind very helpful. The location is in a great spot central to all things you need. Unfortunately I was there during the worst rain said 1998, and winter, which I was not expecting and did not pack for. so I wasn't able to experience much. This lead to my leaving early. But I'm sure if you were to go in the summer it would be a 10/10 experience

Great hostel in the middle of Wollongong. The work is as advertised, the accommodations are comfortable and the hostelis beautiful. Nate, Kerry and Kathy will do what they can to ensure you can make the most of your stay. I appreciate their flexibility and interest in the volunteers. I really recommend this place for travelers beginning their stay in Australia. It is a great place to save some money and set yourself up for your next move.
